gvg available server wide
I would love for this to be an option, considering EOTM is not suitable for GvGs, but realistically ANet probably doesn’t care enough about GvG to dedicate resources into this.

The answer about resources is really really really really simple. Sell game expansion packs like what was done in GW1. Include a new GvG mode maybe via guild halls, some new playable race and/or class, etc. People would buy it just like they bought Factions.

I would prefer them selling expansion packs to them doing the current model. At least then I would know what I was getting when im buying it instead of finding if im gonna like the content week by week. Also the fact that they haven’t implemented proper GvG’s yet is quite absurd seeing as the game is called guild wars. Im hoping they do make a huge expansion like patch bigger then LS2 so we can get some features that are desperately needed.
A few of us last night were talking in TS about how we’d prefer expansion packs we could buy as well compared to the current model. If a GvG mode were in it, we’d definitely buy it.

As they said, they will never support GvG so give up on that idea and wait for Camelot Unchained.
Guild Halls are a much needed item in this game. Guilds would then be able to invite rival guilds into a match. The plus is that they could charge gems to buy it and even charge gem rent. They would likely make more than enough to cover the development.
A sizable number of players would likely come back to GW2 just to enjoy the new game mode for a while.
