This is personal opinion about the WWW and what I’ve felt about the threads regarding WM.

There’s no so-callled ‘turtle tactics’ chapter in WM commander tactic book. =) However, we did try the tactic during WM’s regular meeting which are held every Sunday. We tried to figure out what are pros and cons about the tactic. But eventually our conclusion? It was ill-fitting clothes to us. And more importantly, it was so so so so so boring…:(

However, it is powerful tactic when our foe utilize it. My only complain is not about whether tactic is legit or not, but about the chattering which seems to be either scared or grumbling too much(“It’s buggy.”, “It is not legal.”) It is more efficient to talk about how we can breach the tactic rather than complaining.

There is always the better tactic which can break the good tactic. We didn’t have specific idea about the tactic until we faced the actual one on the battlefield. When we were unifying the Storm Border, we watched the BG users using the turtle tactic. Yeah, we failed to crush at first, second, and third trial. But after a while, we did our research and finally we beat it!! I’m not trying to say here about what we’ve achived. I’m talking about the stance we are indicating. We were not worried and scared at all whatever we faced. That is the key reason why we could beat the tactic. Turtle tactic is simple but strong. Everyone worried about beating it but still we proved ourselves that it is possible to crush it. Did we enjoy enough in the meantime? Yes! Absolutely! This is the way of playing we pursuit. Beating the great tactic. That’s what we want to do. Whole SBI is becomming better and better everyday by doing these things. If there are turtles? It’s simple. We become rabbits!

Shame on you who exploit. You should be shameful taking the keep or orb by using bug or exploiting. I think they exploit because they scared of us. You cannot stand up front and fight against us fair and square. Let’s forget about them. ArenaNet will make them disappear. Let’s enjoy the victory over the battle.

To Strom Commanders who helped me and cared me…

What I really want to say first is, whenever you whisper to me you will defend the tower, even if I cannot properly answer because I’m not farmiliar with english, I feel really blessed and feel gratefull to you. I hope there is more proper word than thank you. Let me know if there is, I want to say it to you personally. I always feel sorry and gratefull to you guys. I was so touched oneday when a commander brought the forces to me and turned the commander mark off even though I’m just a normal game loving guy. LOD, YAKI, and whole SBI guild members, I am really thank you and I hope I can remember every name of you. =)

I have very competitive spirit. Every WM is also competitive. The halloween event tear my heart a bit. I felt lonely when I was defending the tower alone. I felt like, “Where is everyone? Why am I standing here alone?” Well, it big event of the year, so I can’t help it but still, I felt like why our foes are so many in here. lol. Just want to share my feeling. =)

Most of WM plays in asian time for 4~5 hrs. But here I am and my friend who spend more time in the battlefield. We know we cannot cover 24 hrs. My friends and social followers, if you are logged in when I am in the battlefield, please give me a hand. Then I won’t be lonely even if there’s a outmanned buff if you are with me. Please~~~ =) I think SBI member are really good at battle. No orbs? No problem. We fight well. The more people trust me and help me, the more I become strong and smart.

I have one concern about my language skill. I use Korean on the map chat or team chat. I feel sorry about that but, in asian time, every asian guild only uses their own voice chat program. So that’s the only way we can communicate. Sometimes my friends translate those but as you know, real time translation is hard and he also has to fight during translating lol. So I really need to use Korean sometimes when we need rapid move. Understand me please. I will try my best to use english but well, my lifetime regret is I didn’t learn english enough.

I am proud of my server SBI because we all play fair. Wonderful fighters SBI!!

I can confidently say that any and all WM commanders have been exceptional at unifying forces/taking control of whatever map they’re on. I salute you WM, and actions speak louder than words, so language is not a real barrier.

As one who has faced you on the battlefield, knowing the formidable force you guys are I am glad to see that WM is not one to cower beneath the turtle but figured out how to crack its hard shell.

Keep an eye on these WM guys, you might learn a thing or two ;]

I had no trouble at all reading and understanding what you wrote so in my opinion your English skills are amazing for it being a second language. I am also impressed that you took the time and effort to communicate effectively your thoughts and feelings in English. It is a sign of great respect and a huge benefit for the server in showing that communication is key and possible in achieving our goals.

I have seen the dedication and determination of WM on the battlefield and you have my thanks. The Halloween event has impacted the numbers in WvW no doubt but that will pass soon. It is due to players not wishing to miss activities that occur only once a year.

I greatly admire the competitive spirit of SBI, the bonds of friendship forming, how we learn from each other and keep it fun. I thank WM, all the SBI guilds and the many guildless characters I’ve seen in WvW doing their best to make a fun game even better. Yes, there are game issues and bugs, but the game is still new and this new aspect of competitive gameplay is still evolving

I’m not on Stormbluff. But this is one of the best tier 1 posts ever. I applaud such great sportsmanship and tact in this post. I think I found which upper tier team I will be rooting for in the future.

It always puts a smile on my face when I see Bahaness or Amaranth on the field when I log in to WvW. SBI has nothing but respect for WM and its awesome players.

Even after all the orb bugging to favor a certain side and the turtle folly I am amazed that we’ve been able to close the gap between first place to make it a close match.

One thing led to another. PvPers will always push the edges. Once they learned of culling peeps were stacking, then portaling, and now turtling. They are all cheezy to me so I happily await the nerfs!

I see you did not completely read the entire post =[.

Baha states that WM tested turtling out a few times to see the pro’s and con’s of it and it turned out to not be a part of WM’s playstyle.

On portal bombing, we never said anything about it because it’s something that is being used as intended and widely used in all tiers whilst turtling is a new strategy in tier 1 which we were not familiar with. WM didn’t complain about turtling, as Baha clearly states that they tried to figure out how to beat it instead of complaining whether if it is a legit strat or not.

I love running with WM commanders. Not only are their tactics great, they also make a big effort to communicate with the map and the pugs running with them. I know that Jang Gun types more (in a foreign language) than a lot of native speaking commanders. Great to have you on SBI.

Returning from a couple weeks off of SBI, I have really grown to appreciate how unique our community is. Watching our server learn and grow over the weeks and months has really been rad! And the future is looking bright!

As far as SBI goes, I have enjoyed most of the fight with them (can’t say the same for JQ). And WM does well and is truly a challenging fight. I have noticed a few times where WM killed someone and did a /laugh emote or jumping on the corpse, which is really bad sportsmanship in my opinion. It only happened to me once, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I have seen exploiters on every server including my own, it is a definite problem. But yeah, good luck out there, lets keep it fun and fair.

Thanks for the well though out post, your English is great by the way! I haven’t played with any one from WM yet but I have heard some stories about WM and it’s awesomeness. Just that you took the time to post this makes me feel truly honored to be part of the SBI server. If I ever see you in WvW I’ll run with you or where we need it.

I know we are still a few weeks away from our matchup, but I thought Id issue you guys a fair warning. Our server is full of hungry, hungry hippos and we have no problems with eatting turtles, bunnies, or whatever else you want to throw at us.

Enjoy your ’soft’ competition while you have it because we are coming.

Keep it up Stormbluff Isle fighters. We’ve proven to be one of the best wvw communities and we are getting better day by day. Also hail to all those commanders who contribute a lot. I should say WM did great work on the Asian major time.

It is from ancient Bandwagon Last Rite Ceremony. I am blessing you into after life where all Bandwagoneers go.

If I am lucky to keep up with WM i will break off and conduct this ceremony. Do not get confused.

Yes, we don’t use turtling. It’s not because we think turtling is not legit, we don’t blame ‘any tactics’ except using bugs or exploits. Also, we think it’s a good tactic.
Honeystly, we just “can’t” do that cause it doesn’t fit our play type.
As you know, we are blood-thirsty fighters more than cool-hearted technician.
Most of us very poor at stay calm and wait for long time. Sometimes, it makes huge failure and whenever we made mistakes, you don’t imagine how sorry we are to our comrades. But that’s who we are =)
So, plz, don’t judging us from words we never said

I’m very happy and proud to see this post from Bahaness, the replies from other WM commanders and members. I have run most Asian/Oceanic afternoons or evenings with WM on WvW recently and that is mostly when I truly enjoy GW2.

Now that I have written this I will go back to fighting in our borderlands
