so… on what category should I report people who farm wvw badges?

so last night I saw 3 people (all guardians) from my server (names like: klshdg) fighting 3 ish.. people from other server. so another person (just trying to complete his’s map completion in wvw) & me join in and “help” them. and…. all the response we got was: “no… I want to get badge” and that’s about it. so from most of my MMORPG experience, they’re giving free kills and farm badges in the ledge people won’t commonly go to. which I totally don’t get, WHY wvw badges???

I’ve seen a post people asking about this long time ago, and I think they said that it’s not allowed. same as giving free kills in pvp. that’s why I’m asking how should I report these people?

What do you mean? Two parties continually killing each other in turns? I guess that should fall under exploit.

and how would one actually farm badges considering they drop from – well everything and anything.
Even if its 2 people killing eacother back and fourth.. Cant see anything wrong farming badges… so inlighten me

2 people killing each other alone would be pretty dumb, they would need to have ressers there to make it worth the trouble.

In any case any “fixed” fights vs. the enemy are exploits and should be reported.

Is there an initiative against writing coherent posts on this forum?

There’s nothing wrong with farming anything. If you suspect them botting though, that would qualify as offense.

I have 4k badges on my main and I have no idea what to do with them. I don’t even zerg, I imaging there are ppl who have 10 – 20x more than I do out there. Badges are useless atm.

Buy siege with badges, sell them on the TP. Or save em for gear for an alt.

Not sure, but I think you need badges to get one of these Legendary thingies that the PvE crowd are so keen on. Was he on his way to the JP?

OTOH – it might be he couldn’t think of the right word and used badge meaning the map completion achievement.
Probably he was a PvEer and couldn’t fight. We get a lot of them QQing in the forum about having to get WvW map completion.

I too like farming badges. Or rather, killing zerglings as the commanders leave them behind.

dude, that’s totally way out of topic and it has nothing to do with this.

Don’t bother reporting them, just spoil it for them. Block the ones from your server, and gank, kill, and camp the ones from other server till they have to go do something else.

Farming badges is like farming spikes – completely pointkitten th are worth a few copper. Now heavy loot bags – that’s a different thing.
