idea for future Siege Events
2) flame rams are mobile and do increased damage to golems.
I’m a roamer first, so the rest isn’t my cup of tea. But I’d absolutely love to run around with a Mobile Ram Platform and knock golems around like ping pong balls!

Y’know what might be an interesting idea for a special event in WvW? Well right now it’s all like..point-and-capture and stuff, but I’ve always really liked capture-the-flag type game-modes. I was thinking about this because of your “all out battle for smc” idea.
I mean let’s say each server has a flag at their EBG keep, and the objective is to get the flag and run it back to your own ebg keep. Their flag stays at your keep for an hour, and then respawns back in its original location. Your server gets extra points for capturing a flag, and maybe your server faces some kind of penalty for having your flag captured, or the flags give another bonus kinda how the ruins work. Like if you capture a flag, your server gets increased speed or damage or something. And maybe like in SMC there could be a white flag that is not owned by any server, but again you get bonus points for capturing it, and it has a longer respawn time.
This would all still lead to fights, because people will be attacking other keeps, which of course always brings big fights- so it’s not dramatically ruining WvW gameplay, just kind of adding a new little game into it. Plus, the Borderlands would stay the same, so anyone who REALLY doesn’t want to be involved can still play normally in those maps

We kinda had a capture the flag thing with the orbs, when instead of the borderland boon based on capturing ruins you had to capture the orb and bring it to the altar. Those were interesting battles for that bit of extra power the orbs give you and made those keeps a high priority target.
So yeah, something like that could work, but I would say instead of respawning at stonemist, it was more like the orb and stayed until stolen, but with the functionality of giving you more points per tick instead of stats to your realm.
Also, the idea of mobile siege rams would be very interesting, it could be designed as a new blueprint that could only be built at your keep and you had to move it around and it would be a lot more powerful (e.g., equivalent to 2 superior rams) and/or with a boon/buff generation to those around it
