does logging out before a player kills you still count for them? If they don’t then that’s a small bit of satisfaction for me cause there are moments where you feel the enemy player does not deserve the kill/point/daily. If it’s from a person who plays fairly, it was a good fight and doesn’t rely on cheesy classes and tactics then I will happily handshake em in spirit.

Again another issue with WvW which has been reported, yet again ignored by Anet!

It is supposed to but I have seen people disappear when they go down and I immediately get out of combat. Didn’t count as a kill as no loot or XP given. Dunno how they do it but there is a way it doesn’t count.

If your Queue pops I know you can teleport even in combat and your attackers don’t get anything even if they almost killed you. If you DC on the other hand the attackers should get exp/reward because when you log back in you have damaged equipment (easy to test).

As long as you were in combat with someone before you logged out, they will get the XP + loot.

You shouldn’t be logging out just because you think a player “doesn’t deserve the kill.” Most times, people find it more satisfying when they think they made you rage quit anyway. You’re not preventing a win, you’re just being a baby.

But hey if that’s the way you want to play it all the power to you. Just know that if you do it too often, some players will start to bully you for it, I’ve seen it happen.

I had this happen here and there. I think most were saying it was queue related because I never got xp or a bag when they disappeared.

There are players who do that every time. No loot, no xp, im out of combat and they just dissapear

I think if you’re queue for another map pops while your in combat it does actually count as a kill and you port over to the spawn dead.

As mentioned, quitting because you think they “don’t deserve the kill” actually gives them more than they’d get otherwise.

I personally interpret it as a rage quit, which is hilarious in a video game. You still often give up a bag (depending how you do it), but it’s almost always too low value to care if you don’t, and the player knows they got the kill anyway… and so do you.

How can any class or build be ‘cheesy’ if it’s provided by ANet in this game? They give us these tools to use. If you can’t counter it… ya well then…

lol.. oh that was you? hehe.. .I take it as a badge of honour when people rage quit like that. If you fall because I shot you down after almost falling myself, then ALT+F4 to deny me my kill… whether or not I get credit for the kill at that point I don’t even care because I’m laughing too hard at the “gamer” that forgot it was ‘just a game’! sigh

That means the outnumbered buff grants immortality! Guess that explains how I’m still kicking after 10k+ deaths!

Now you’re getting it, I am undefeated when the outnumbered buff is on. Just make sure to whisper all the lame brains who think they beat you during those times to correct their misconception.
