Guild Wars 2

I am an experienced wvw player that is considering moving server. I normally play 10pm-2am est (3am-7am GMT) on weekdays and for 5-7 hrs a day on weekends at most any point in the day. I want a server with a strong group of players at this time at this time of day. Also and server with strong ties between guilds would be nice. It doesn’t matter to me if the server is NA or EU but I only speak English so if the bulk of chat is in a different language that’s not for me ( not that I mind other people speaking their language I just won’t have a clue what is being said which is no fun)

Regarding N/A servers, I’d recommend the following T3 and T4 servers: Fort Aspenwood, Yak’s Bend, Maguuma, and Crystal Desert.

I’m on Fort Aspenwood and it has some great guilds, we are a pretty cohesive server and we have good population at that time (that’s the time slot I normally play). If you’re interested send me a message and I can recommend a few guilds to you.

Yak’s Bend would be a great choice as the only thing holding us back from more greatness is more great people. We have a number of great WvW orientated guilds.

That is prime time for most players on Eredon Terrace. We are very skilled players, not squirmish, only thing we need are more numbers. We have many WvW oriented guilds and are all in an alliance as well as voice chat coordination. Check out my videos from this past Saturday. We still kicking it.

Don’t even think about tier3 , I tried it , FA so so bad I could not believe how bad the tactics were , I had to see what the best was up to SoS, OMG these guys are good, all of tier 1 is great , very hard to get on 2am pst was an opening for me. Do youself a favor and try out tier 1, Not going lie battles are huge you will need to adjust , FA would drop maybe 0 to 5 siege on D for a keep , last night SoS dropped maybe 25 to hold the Bay

Come to Anvil Rock, we’re moving up. Or go down to Devona’s Rest as they’ll be moving up to T7 sometime in the next couple weeks. AR’s primetime is between 8pm EST and 4am EST. DR is similar.

Regarding T1/T2 servers, as I’ve said before, people are only harming the WvWvW ecosystem by bandwagoning to the top tiers and destroying any chance of server diversity, which would generate more dynamic gameplay and competition. I’d rather have 9 great servers than 3 super servers. That’s why I recommend T3 and T4 servers and the four I cited earlier specifically.

@ Mirage – not sure why you feel the need to drop into any FA-related thread and talk kitten. It’s a great server as its players and competitors can attest to.

10pm-2am weekdays is a fun time on Yak’s Bend. We have a few late night commanders that love nothing more than to organize whomever hasn’t gone to bed yet, and start grabbing land.

Great server, great WvW community, crazy amazing fighting spirit, and we all manage to have a load of fun while doing it.

Because I too was looking for a server and bought into the hype how good FA was so I tried it , absolute waste of time for a real rvr player, No worries mate I wont be around much longer I cant wait till feb for wvw work . WvW was fun for a few months but without something to work for it wont last
