If relinking happened this week, and we kept the 12 server host system, we’d most likely see the first guest / host swap in DH and Ebay. Where by Ebay becomes a host and DH becomes a guest.

It seems (atleast for the time being) if your server is 13th, there’s a very good chance you’ll see some flipping between host and guest, IF you can maintain your position before re-pairing. As for the servers below 13th, it doesn’t look very likely anytime soon. But honestly, it’s anyone’s guess how it works until it actually happens the first time.

As far as how your server reaches 13th place? It was tough before, and seems to be 10xs as hard now.

yea… hopefully there is such thing as swapping so we can be host server aswell and not forever guests…

That is very untrue. It won by 75% because MOST people are very happy with the server pairing. I get that DR is unhappy being paired with Maguuma, it is a trolly server and leaves a bad taste in some peoples mouths. I personally loved it on Maguuma when I was there, but had to move to get better fights on another server. It isn’t for everyone for sure lol.

this why merge system won ! those 12 servers that still have their server identity and borderland started to play more and more … why??? because they got a entire server that got forcefully transfered by anet to join them! duh they are all happy!! also those top 12 servers probly did a “blob (yes) vote” top tiers population is tick all of them voted (yes) check if any of the 12 guest servers are happy and still play…

I imagine the top 12 servers probably did make up 75% of the games population, but I am not on one of the “host servers”, I am on Borlis Pass which is paired with Fort Aspenwood, so is the rest of my guild that I am the leader of and another larger guild that I am an officer of. We all voted for the pairings in that poll being on a Guest server because we’re having a great time being paired up with FA. So your statement isn’t completely correct, it isn’t like everyone who is paired voted against it, a lot of us voted for it.

anet you have to bring back our borderlands and servers… if you want more population… you create!!… not delete, forget or send away the 12 honorable servers!!
I know alot of people and guilds that havent left their servers for years!

Not sure why you think this way, the population has increased over all since they brought back Alpine, linked servers, changed stability to work better and introduced reward tracks. WvW is in a great place right now, much better than it has been since HoT was released.

If you don’t like being paired with Maguuma, either wait it out for the next pairing change or transfer. I know you don’t want to transfer because you have so much pride in DR (never been sure why), but most other servers are very happy with their pairing.

Honestly, I hope Borlis Pass gets paired with Maguuma next go-around. I loved it there, but I really don’t care who we are paired with as long as there are good fights to be had. Getting the fights is what keeps me around in a server, currently being on BP is getting me plenty of good fights.

Poor 12 servers… Seems like there is no hope.. We wont be able to play with each other again…

best solution is to mergeall into 2 or 3 factions, and then add several maps like a mini continent, guilds and comunities stays toggether and same time splited from other comunities , each server or 2 servers would focus on each map, more havoc missions with reward system etc…. more atacking, more people to call help if something important is being taken and has low number of defenders etc, it would be much mroe RvR than KTvKT (karma train).

Regardless of how the guests or the hosts felt about the initial linking, it’s over and done with, we lost/we won whatever side you’re on its done. But, its still seperate, and shuffling large groups of people according to whatever schedule Anet decides now is their right, but, it’s not right! People are going to eventually get tired of it, if they aren’t already.

I’d submitted to the reality that my server is now only represented with a + sign and a salt forum signature. I’ve also accepted the fact that most of the 12 guest servers will likely never be a host. But, how much more submitting is there for us guests? A little over a month in and still no stability! Those of us that are scheduled to be shuffled whenever and eventually those that have a named home will crack.

When you look at the cold, hard, facts, Anet did the right thing by cutting the amount of servers, we did not need 24 NA servers. What they failed to do was give us definitive answers about our future, they also cut too many servers. They’ve lumped former enemies together and let or forced (in some cases) for us to become friends – a team! Soon, they’ll split us apart again. How is that better for anyone? Hosts not knowing who they’re getting, guests not knowing where they’re going, a good portion of the population being moved around like bacon on a frying pan and really no incentive for the bacon to fight to build something they won’t be apart of in a few weeks.

Like I said, I’ve submitted to the fact that my server isn’t represented while I’m in wvw, and I’ll continue to fight as long as I can, without an apparent purpose. But, for those on the named servers that disagree with the “give us a name crowd”…think long and hard about putting them/us in our place now, we may be paired with you one day, and whether or not we fight with you all depends on you treat us throughout this process.

the argument has been if you’re gonna kill server identity then just blow everything up and create new servers or just merge servers

Dark Jean, I am trying to understand what you are saying, the problem is every time you post reality just goes south, and not good BBQ south, just bad south.

I get it, you hate being paired with Maguuma, most servers would however guilds like TREX are coming around and there is a synergy forming. Mag is toxic AF, I get that, but the majority of us aren’t. Blaming a system A-Net put in place to help a dwindling population because you are unhappy with what cards you were dealt is not good. Please remember we are still in BETA with this, so you and DR may very well be paired with a much more agreeable server.

I (CCCP) and my guild happen to like those members of kYrO that run with us. I think it has been a good experience. Maguuma is sorely tagged as a Troll Server by a few but most of us are pretty chill.

There are other things that need to be fixed in this game other than your ego being stroked.
I have a feeling you wouldn’t be making this big of fuss if it was DR listed instead of Mag.

What ego are you talking about ?? Yea i wont have a problem if we retained our server identity. I speak for others that doesnt have time to post in here but we all want our server identity back…
