I think of all keeps as mini castles, as they don’t get TREBBED by other keeps like SM does and it doesn’t have 6 towers surrounding it that it can treb all at once

agreed.smc shouldnt be that easy to reach.and why on earth it the castle lord on the bottom and not on the top floor?

He used to be on the middle floor, but enemies would just setup Arrow Carts underneath him.

If it can Treb surrounding keeps and towers on EB, then surrounding towers and keeps on EB can Treb it.

If you play solitaire with only one suit, your game is going to end faster and feel lacking.

As much as I like the idea of including more (most likely through new areas altogether), it probably wouldn’t sit well on anything lower than tier 4 or so – unless zergs are steam-rolling, EB’s the only highly populated area (meaning that, by including more, you’re lessening the number of people on a map, meaning it might take several minutes to find ONE ally or, possibly more depressing, ONE enemy – the same way BLs are currently).

Before they add in more, they need to give more incentive for people to play.

they really should remake the SM top floor and put the lord up there, not saying they have to, but wouldn’t it make more sense for a lord to be on the top floor instead of on the first floor? and there are guards on the roof, but what goes on up there besides some holiday events that kill things. I like how the guards on the second floor and the ramps go and rush to the battle scene though, it makes it seem like a real castle right there, but really the lord should be moved to the 3rd floor.

Would be nice to see terrain have a bigger part in WvW as well. It’s not non-existant, but it does seem to be largely ignored by the zerg.

Thoug i like the idea of ladders, at least now it takes the zerg a few seconds to build some rams or cata’s and take down a gate/wall. Imagine if they could just drop 20 ladders and swarm over the walls.

Agree with the idea of larger WvW maps. Right now everyone on a map can coalesce into a giant zerg and respond to any single assault on the map. A larger map with greater travel time would make that zerg late, and encourage subdivision of forces to defend map zones. This change would make WvW more about coordination and less about who can get the most warm bodies into the the borderlands. Treb range would have to scale up for the larger maps though, so that the more widely spaced forts/keeps could still pressure each other by treb.

Siege towers. I would like to see them in the game but only as a rare drop like an exotic perhaps.

They would require a fair bit of supply to build like trebs with a bit more investment and be mobile but only at say the same speed that we walk at.

They would not be able to be placed just anywhere either. If the walls are surrounded by water or if there is not a realistic amount of land for it to occupy then it can’t be placed/built.

This would add a new dynamic to the game and cause some very interesting surprises for an enemy now and then.
