I’d like more forewarning before WvW gets shut down due to a routine maintenance patch.

“We’ve updated the game for routine maintenance only. No content changes were included.”

Players would be a LOT less annoyed if we could PLAN for this to happen. I can understand if you need to instantly patch an exploit…. but for expected normal patches, please leave us some warning.

Oh we all would like this but somehow every single topic about this never gets an ANet post. Although some dev in another post said that they were busy coding stuff instead of posting. It’s really hard to implement these kind of things you know.

the 10 second before kick warning is asinine.

I tried to get into WvW after the kick happened and I got an error that stated some like “World vs World is temporarily unavailable while the maps are being updated.” Then 5 min later I got the 3 min countdown for a patch.

What I do not get is they they had told us via Twitter and Facebook when Maintenance was scheduled the few weeks after launch. Why can’t they now?

me too, very annoying to place some siege and then get kicked out after a few minutes to find that the siege is gone when i get back in

is also why i’ll never buy a 1 gold golem

a 3 hour warning would be nice, even 1 hour, i mean they must know they want to push an update through within the next 1 hour…
