no servers are full now
The only full server on both NA and EU is named Desolation. The irony.

EU, ded.
Not really, but there isn’t many Prime time guilds left on Deso anymore, the curse of being #1 I suppose
People don’t PPT unless the MU is winnable via PvD IMO, they only defend if they even have manpower, but you don’t need to defend if you tick @ 400-500 each night for 2-3 hours.
Most people just end up staying on EB anyway, or just wait for people to log, there isn’t any investment that people have to put in anymore.
Plays completely opposite professions to his main Teef.

Deso got invaded by a bunch of bandwagonning guilds who thought if they all join two other servers they could have better fights against each other than they were having fighting Deso or BB.
They probably haven’t changed the population limit, the algorithm probably finally updated for the first time since H0T release.
did they increase the population limit or did so many people quit?
People quit. Log in just outside of primetime and it’s a ghost town — much more so than before HoT, and even in EB.

That was during the second “tournament” all those years ago, though!
Desolation [EU] is the new SFR 2.0 ! That means: overstacked with f2p player, guilds, PvE Heroes and bandowagner. At the moment the silver league is the most balanced part in term of population.
Main profession: Thief & Guardian
Focus on: WvW , PvP
Deso is full of Community guilds, one GvG guild and the rest more casual or PPT guilds, who still believe in the competition, without any competition left.
There’s still no queues apart from EB, or depending on commander.
If you’re a pug who only wants to play casually, with no pressure to join a guild to improve, I guess it’s an okay place to be.
It’s the curse of #1 EU, or the EU side is just less active.

If you play outside of NA prime, T1 is the place to be. There are fights pretty much 24×7 right now. NA Prime gets crowded in EBG for sure but generally for a couple hours on weekends. Lots of roamer, duel and zerg fighting to be had.

This is absolutely true. HoT + the collapse of SFR killed the competition. Just look at the current EU tier 1 match up. In less than 14 hours Desolation has almost 30k point lead.
Desolation has fairly weak prime time. We often have outnumbered “buff” on several maps at same time. It is just that Desolation is stacked with Points per Tick (PpT) type of players and guilds. On the positive side there is always action, always PuG commanders to follow and many of the PuG commanders are really great, even though Deso probably has the most stubborn PuGs in the world (rarely on tag, always love to skirmish). Thus Desolation is the ideal EU server if you want casual 24h7 action. And yes, Desolation is still “full”.

I fixed for you ^^

What’s WvW now? Oh that waste of time. New reset time, Ye yes. Everyone loving it.
What do you mean by not enough people? Isn’t there Iron Triangle and RKO and Chronic Insanity and Thousand Lake Alliance(?) thingy? As far as I recall most of them has left to deso just to get easy zerg there
Most maps end up outnumbered, with multiple guilds from other servers, that have nothing to fight.

The Iron Triangle [IRON] is one of the original big guilds of Desolation. They left Desolation for some NA server considerable amount of time ago, but have come back already long time ago.
Thousand Lake Alliance [TLA] has been as long on Desolation as I remember. TLA never left Desolation, even when Desolation had difficult times.

RKO Legion [RKO] moved from SFR to Desolation.
Chronic Insanity [CI] is one of the most important PpT guilds of Desolation.
We have of course many other WvWvW guilds. Da Pa Train [PT] is probably the biggest community guild at the moment.
But still on many hours we have the outnumbered “buff” on multiple maps. Trust me, enemy often has more players on several maps. Desolation gets the EU #1 rank, because we have players on all time zones (by far the best coverage) and tons of PpT oriented players.
Really surprised to know we’re “full” best I’ve seen in terms of queues is 30-man queue on EB at reset.
Moved to T1 and I don’t regret it one bit (beside the cash I had to pay to make a broken game mode enjoyable, that still feel like my money is being stolen).
Large fights most of the day. I should have moved way sooner.

I was a hard core T3-T6 player for the first two years then went to T2 and now T1. Nothing is going to beat the T2 GvG Maguuma days in my experience but T1 right now is decent if a player likes fights. T1 does have its drawbacks and is even quiet sometimes but I cannot imagine what it must be like in T3 and below right now.

It’s discouragingly quiet.
