outmanned buff solution
I like part of your idea with the supply having special rules during outmanned.
Not all the specifics maybe but that is a sly approach to the problem because siege can take out more possible targets than a single player or inflict more damage over a larger radius. A change like that might balance the playing field some.
Both sides want the challenge anyway. I’ve been on the winning side and it’s boooring. No one comes out to play then you have the desperate ppl camping their spawn looking for action. Until you talk everyone out of camping them at their exits, you can’t get them to do any objectives. That means less trading of property and karma/exp/money for everyone involved. The only thing camping does is improve chances of medals dropping not W3 event completion.
Last night we even discussed allowing our lowest point competitor some presence on a map we owned just to get the fight with all 3 sides instead of the two dominators.
Yeah, we were going to give up points just to get more going on, I think that’s telling that people do want to fight but also get points coupled with experiencing trouble cajoling an enemy out.

the outmanned buff is
+20% Magic find
+33% Experience
+33% Karma
it does nothing to slow a night shift from completely flipping a map. and it does nothing to make fighting restart faster after a map has been flipped.
i was looking for something that wouldn’t stop anyone from winning, just make the score a little less lopsided due to population fluctuations. something that didn’t level the playing field where outmanned you could hold your own, just maybe so you could hold something.
