outnumbered - not good enough
Great idea with the stacks and buffs remaining. I agree after armor repair was made free, the outnumbered buff needs something new.
How about not giving any loot/wxp on defeat while outnumbered?
It would still not solve the problem about getting zerged but at least there’d be less incentive to trample the few remaining ppl on an outnumbered server.
That way 90%? of the other server (however many care about loot/wxp instead of world ranking) would quickly lose interest and move on to another map. At least ideally.
Outnumbered buff should increase karma and copper rewards from successful defend events.
Common situation: outnumbered on home borderland, fighting enemy blob that sets up shop in southwest supply camp to catapult/treb/ram Bay. Since stat boosts to this buff are ‘too easy to abuse’, I’m never gonna get any help taking the supply camp back from the blob while still outnumbered, but I am shackled to Bay for hours killing catapults and rams and trebuchets. It is absolutely kittening BORING to do this, and the rewards are pitiful, but at the same time it is still a required deal to protect Bay.
If the buff can’t help me, at least make it worth my time to play under it. Maybe even make the magic find boost scale up with the severity of the outnumber. If I am the only person on the entire map but I still manage to kill 3 enemies, gimme some 200% MF bags.

Umm, just a noob ( only silver vet here ) idea but, how about outnumbered buff act like a super bloodlust? I mean, if you have to fight THAT many more than your team, give the outnumbered team like +200 to each stat?
Better Idea, make it grading. make it so for every person over your teams numbers gives a +10 stat! so the second would not get screwed cuza 3rd.
Like if top pop has 60 pple, second pop has 25, third pop has 10. second pop gets a + 350 to stats, 3rd gets a +500. but this would really hate on roaming teams.. so make it applicable to towers n keeps only, like the guild buff area. That way, we’all can fight on equal terms in open field(not counting numbers) but when you are defending points, you get buffed according to the population difference (so the scrubs like me that try to defend a point have a fighting chance against a map blob)
Stat boost is veeeery bad idea. WoW did it in Wintergrasp. It ended in outnumbered side being stupidly OP in open fight, but still always losing because of numbers.
On the other hand, it could boost NPCs stats and maybe numbers? Even if they couldn’t wipe enemy zerg, they could slow them down or even help to balance fights in less extreme causes.
I said not affect open field. affect in place same way as guild buffs. and If your THAT outnumbered, you should not be fighting open field anyways

It isn’t fun to fight 8 as 2 presently, why can’t it be changed to force some ingenuity on the part of the 8?
Because it’s natural it’s not fun to be outnumbered and not natural to be OP and one kill enemy with few hits without worrying about them hitting you.
And I guess I should add that it’s been discussed already and they said they don’t want outmanned to give direct boost to players power.
I play being outnumbered most of the time, and I do not want any kind of stat boost because of it, all that will happen is I will get even more enemy inviting me to group after I stomp them to tell me “you only won cos you got a stats boost”.
The current outnumbered buff is fine, I will take the extra wxp and magic find and be grateful for it.

Outnumbered should be: All walls, doors, guards, siege, etc. get double HP or half damage buff, and all siege takes half as much supply to build.
Lets make Outnumbered players not worth any points when stomped, regardless of Bloodlust.
I think the buff should help your stats it doesn’t have to make it god level crazy stats but enough to help out roamers and smaller groups keep in mind to have outnumbered buff it’s most likely 1 – 2 or higher odds as it is stat buff should be something minor not enough for it to be massive maybe could be like WvW guild fort buffs +10% health, +40 to every stat and such is it massive 5 wiping 20 people changing? No it’s just giving the smaller side if they are skilled enough a chance to not be utterly destroyed in every single fight it’ll promote roamers to go on maps since they’ll have the buff and make them not as easily to be spawn killed.
I don’t think this buff should stack with WvW fort buff though so if your outnumbered and your in a guild with all fort buffs on that’d just be too much.
Looking at the buff I don’t think they’d ever intend it to add anything to combat abilities, but not removing stacks and food buffs when defeated while under this effect doesn’t sound OP and quite in line with the no-armor-damage effect.
(It depends on whether you want to introduce a de-buff of the blob team as well and how you address the over all coverage.)

+33% Experience => increase to 50%
+20% Magic find
+25% World Experience => Increase to 50%
=> Killed players should no provide loot bags and badges + stomping points
It does not adress the problem of flipping towers and keeps on rotation unless it applies to NPCs too (e.g. making lords and supervisors not drop ascended mats and champion bags)
Anet has to find a way to make servers compete to win by encouraging the two teams with the lower scores to fight against the one leading and not the top two farming the lowest point team and whoever farms best gets more PPTs, which happens too often.
Still keeps a volume of Kurzick poems ;)

This comment is beyond stupid. If everyone changed server, they would have no one to play against. There needs to be changes made.
Simply not taking damage on armor is not enough.
Please remove all downed and dead effects on stacks and buffs etc.
The no damage thing is more of an insult that you think that was enough for the fact that you have not put any real effort into balancing the zerg problem.
