yesterday nearly everybody got something exotic and a ton of yellow. what do you think guys? they spoil the pve players with the loot or its permanent?

Probably bugged – like the lag, skill freezes, etc, all show they have taken resources away from wvw to support something else when they should have upgraded the servers and spent resources on fixing all the various issues.

Instead everything is geared towards spvp (or the wastelands, as they are known).

I swear there is an hourly loot lottery. A couple times a month I get excellent loot for a short burst, then it’s back to “what color is rare loot again?”

This is probably due to the infamous diminishing returns system implemented a few weeks after launch.

I got 2 exos and 1 rare from 2 rank boxes couple of days ago while playing my ele in Borderlands. Ranks were 9&10. Don’t know if they improved rank chests that much or was it just random streak of luck.

I’m seeing generally more rares. I get one or occasionally two an hour I guess. Previously I never saw them at all.

I got one exotic ring about a week ago (First time ever!) but it was only a cheap one, worth about 2g.

I’m on rank 150+ on each of 3 characters so I think that’s a fair long-term sample.
