Can you finally completely remove ALL pve creatures from wvw. There in zero reason are them to be there I can understand the vet events like wurm, however everything else needs to be removed. They simply just get in the way, give stealth classes more of an advantage during fights they just give the other player the mobs aggro and use it to their advantage. You no longer can rally off them and they dont drop much loot.
WvW is not PvE so can we finally remove pve content. I know you cut the pve creatures number down a bit but I think most of us want to see them completely gone unless they are a event. Just distracting and pointless to have them still here in wvw maps.
I wish. TBH I would be happy if I never had to look at an NPC again. XD

It’s way worse when you are in the middle of a fight and a moa randomly runs up and dazes you.

When using some leaps to quickly cover ground, a target is required to make them work, so having something to target in front of you is still desirable, however they don’t need to be tough.
You get karma from those events, everyone needs more karma! Besides, it’s a daily sometimes, why take away an easy daily that brings in new people?

Yes, and get rid of all of those stupid cliffs, trees, and rocks. There’s no reason for them to be there either. They’re just slowing me down when I’m trying to get somewhere. I had to go around a cliff last week and almost died.

I’ve been on this train since launch. They are more annoying than they’re worth. Don’t need to remove them though. Just make them part of the scenery, like the trees and rocks.
This is a warzone that’s been going on for 4 years. Any animals that were there in the beginning would be long gone by now anyway.
I like them myself. They can be a nuisance when they get in the way , but they can also be played off of to save yourself or trun a battle in your favor.
The Frogs, dredge and Ogres are all NPCS , why get rid of them?
I have used the Centaur area and skritt area to get away from a group of enemy chasing me.

If I’m on my ranger and I see a thief coming of course I will engage him first. If the thief is off hand dagger I’ll kill every white mob in the area the first time he stealths ( or depending on my weapon set, cleave them down while fighting him) so he doesn’t have a free C&D target.

To necro postings. Sacrifice summons. Only works on flesh golem, shadow fiend, and bone fiend, but on my necro I can run around at 100% without trash mobs and it takes less time that it takes you to run to the mob to kill it.

No no, you misunderstood. I am saying when I am fighting a thief, rev or guardian that is using a teleport skill that requires a target like thief steal, rev assassian teleport or guardians judges intervention or sword 2, they can get away from me faster.
So the PvE mobs cause me to be unable to catch my opponents that are running from me unless I also have one of those teleport skills to use on my target which is my enemy lol.

They should stay as is.
They add an element that makes pvping in wvw feel more organic.
I want more dynamic wildlife, otherwise the maps get stale. Maybe thats one of the reasons I get so bored of EBG…..there is no wildlife except for the outer regions of the map.
Game needs less guards and stuff though around objectives….raise their damage but decrease their numbers.
I mean some stuff doesn’t really make sense to me though and looks totally out of place. Take the villagers in NN alpine camp for example….just ‘why’ do these exist….? They just stand around in 1 spot looking stupidly at you….most die in 3 hits, most don’t attack you, some do attack you but they are so laughable in damage (the big norn dude does) that it just doesn’t make any sense why they are there. And when you cap and recap a camp they automatically respawn/reset……its so cheesy and artificial looking for a supposed village.
DBl had some truly interesting pve in it. There wasn’t really any reward for doing it though…..they really should have given a reward. Take the Wyvern dragon in far NE DBL. There is literally no strategic reason to go all the way out to that spot….nobody was bothered by it and those that wanted it were happy it was there, thats a win-win. And the silver wyvern was a very very cool miniboss event with special animations and all that…the gold wyvern were weaker which made no sense….but the silver one was very very fun to fight. Again though, no real reward for doing it and it just respawns in 5 minutes after u kill it :/

That’s why I argued they should be changed to white mobs. They can still be used but if you are familiar with your opponent and know that he frequently uses npc’s to make his escape you can counter that without having to waste time or burst skills to clear the playing field.

It absolutely does matter how many shots it takes. Current npc’s actually require you to spend time killing them which gives the enemy a window to wail on you. White mobs die in 1 hit, which means you spare 1 second to take away your opponents advantage.
The difference is huge. Currently if I’m fighting an off hand dagger thief, I never bother with the npc’s unless they are already in combat and I can kill them with AoE. It just takes too much time when you are already engaged in a fight. If they were white mobs that would be the first thing I did the second I lost track of the thief. Not to mention I would actively be trying to position myself so I was hitting them while fighting the thief, as opposed to trying to avoid hitting the current npc’s because I don’t need all the extra bodies in the way.
