Now im trying to be sneaky and word this so the thread doesnt get immediatly shutdown, for the last few days in this new round weve been seeing a lone ranger from riverside, a greatsword wielder, who has been doing some very strange things, seems to have swiftness and evasion all the time, conditions on him seem to vanish instantly amoung other things(cough) i think you know what im trying to say here, if you guys on riverside could perhaps find out who this person might be and try to maybe shame him into stopping or something along those lines it would be fantastic, it has been reported but that can take time and ide hate to see this person get away with what hes doing for an even longer period of time than he already has, i know you riversiders hate these issues as much as the rest of us and all servers have people who do these things, we all need to watch out for them and shame them into stopping. And to any mod who is reading this please dont delete threads like this, communication amoungst players on these issues can sometimes really help so long as its not offensive, thankyou.

We tend to group up with the enemy server and talk with them in game about stuff like this. It gets a faster solution. Just target anyone on this server and type /invite.

I know the Ranger you mean. It’s easy to think he’s haxxing, but i’m not sure there was any foul play. He actually seems like a really good player. Keep him out of his healing circles. Save your knock backs/pulls. He transfers his conditions to his pets and has a lot of survival with GS. Pretty much sure he stacks +healing.

I know it’s rare to see a great Ranger, but they’re out there, and he’s very good at his class. I actually enjoyed finding him, pretty confident he could 1v1 with the best of them.

Someone should tell him about the duelling guild [TDS].

I don’t know why people just assume that someone is hacking because they can’t beat them. Unless they are flying in the air or jumping all over the place at like 3 times speed then they aren’t hacking.

You just ran into an evasion ranger from the sounds of it. The greatsword autoattack has a built in evasion on the 3rd attack of the autoattack chain. He also has access to 3 other evades if he has sword/dagger as his other weapon set. And all of this isnt even counting the normal dodges he gets from endurance with probably permanent vigor too.

As for the conditions, he probably has the trait for his pet to pull 3 conditions every 10 seconds. You are also probably trying to fight him in his healing spring which cures a condition every 3 seconds while also granting regen and vigor if traited. Plus if you are fighting him there all of his leaps from weapon attacks are also healing him.

Sounds more like L2P than hacking.

even though i didnt see it he was apparently exhibiting other odd behavours as well like teleporting about the place, and yes there are very good rangers out there, my main or what was my main is a ranger so i understand what you are talking about with the ranger skills there, all true, but having not seen any of the more obvious “hacks” myself i cant say anymore, there was a point where people were following him trying to screenshot etc so they must of been seeing something quite odd.
