Hi all, especially a-net devs

Can you give us any heads up on the patches which affect WVW and how long until they arrive ?

How long until the scoring changes will be in the game ?

Also, how long until the current links are going to be changed (a lot of people are asking about this one).

I understand this is all WIP, may change and probably will, but some sort of a rough idea would be nice.

I think we still have the poll on linking frequency coming up. We just voted to keep linking but haven’t yet voted on the second part of that equation. The current poll is on map configuration.

It has only been a few weeks since the last big WvW update. I know some of these changes are long overdue but they still take a considerable amount of time to develop, QA and release.

They are adding it over time not all at once. So already happen, now, and soon is the only real answer to your question.

I understand all that, and the borderland poll is right now with over 50% in favor of 2 ABL and 1 DBL mixed, the straight up “no” vote and straight up “yes” votes are last (specifically, the vote for DBL is very last) at the time of this posting.

Nonetheless, it would just be nice to hear something like:
We plan to have the scoring changes ready by the next quarterly update, or the scoring changes are turning out to be more work intensive then we anticipated, so they will most likely be ready for the fall quarterly upgrade or somewhere between the summer and fall, etc.

A rough idea would be nice, are we looking at roughly 1 month ? 3 months ? 6 months ? a year ?

Not asking for specific dates to which understandably they can not and should not commit to.

Agreed…..it would be nice to see some ball park estimates.
