U have plenty of same ideas. All of them have few major problems:

  • Server loyalty
  • Spying
  • No way to play with guilds / friends unless u will wait a lot of time till side of ur guildmates will be lowest
  • Rewards? U don’t have any rewards at WvW
  • Language problems in EU
  • And much more

-server buffs are sort of the reward for each wvw match aside from rank, title and whatever else.
-regional matching for different languages.
-if you want to auto-balance then you have to work with new things or problems…unless you have another solution to improve player population balance…

well Anet should Balance WvW/EotM and the reason why is the following.

- alot of us picked world at random and are forced to pay an additional 20 euro for server swap so we then finally can enjoy world vs world on a still unfair way (as if u would buy a Aimbot/Wallhack to get the edge over anyone else)
- 10 players against 200 players means 100+ supplies against 2000+ supplies max.
- 10 players against 200 players also means alot more siege masters
- 10 players are often so slow that the crossed swords is there for a longer period of time giving enough time to get to them and nuke the little they have. on the other hand 200 players progress so quick u got no time to react!

Outnumbered buff is just way too weak, too make up for being a target 100% out of the time.

I suggest the following and hope Anet gets inspired of fixing this content.

the following suggestions are idea’s and aren’t worked out for this is how it should but more of this is how we could fix things

- outnumbered should increase supply cap per player so u can actually make 3 superior catapults with 10 players and still have supplies to build balista’s and AC to counter incoming zergs 200 plus man that would be able to do the same if it would be ever needed for them since they just overrun u and its end game
- merge lower populated worlds together < this way you dont get seperated with friends, family that picked same server and it would stay World vs World.
- make the walls/gates/bosses scale down more.
- add up a damage/vitality for lower populated worlds (not so they will whipe a whole 200 zerg but atleast enough so it stands a chance and not just die instantly cos u getting targeted by 200 AoE’s

Conclusion: Anet should definitly fix there content regarding WvW/EotM.

a new wvw mode might be an easier (and cleaner) solution than to balance all those thing above to supplement for lopsided populations.

oh also have some more quicker matches where conquest points are permanent (maybe tougher to do so) and are non reverse-able. or only reverse-able once within an allotted time and deaths are permanent within a match (or only one resurrection is allowed).

Yeah so u basically want to same guild guys play against eachother in matchups cos of RNG and spy for each other ^^

So…for example 20 French players join blue and whole English speaking Green so still outnumbering or empty borderlands for English speaking players due to balancing 20 English speaking against 20 French speaking; If u mean regional so French vs French vs French then how are u gonna put Spanish players? THey have 1 server atm so they will fight against each other in 20 v 20 v 20? Cos they might not be able to bring more ppl into WvW with their language. No way to solve it unless anet makes every server English speaking and put English only(at WvW) in chat box. Also earlier u wrote about no server attachement so how are ppl from Fr will be able to play with English speaking if u want regional matchmaking? They will have to turn special option? Ye this might work, but still won’t fix unbalance by language.

Actually I have simple sollution. Leave it as it is. Actually Bronze is heaven for roamers, Silver for zergs and Gold for blobs. If u want to play some of those styles just go to specific league. Simple ^^

Or allow free transfer to silver and bronze servers. Then anet will be able to check out if ppl want balance. It is ppl mentality that they want to bandwagon 1 server and win without problems – like sfr’s players that just blob and with new stabil system win almost every fight by numbers and spam of ccs. It is funny tho that all speak about balancing it out, but if anet give opportunity to do so with free transfer probably no1 will swap from gold servers

Another sollution is to set-up server population by WvW active players not pvers and then it will give clear image of situation and merge servers. Ever simplier

Or other sollution. Make GvG arena and all guilds will go there then it will balance out cos of only 20% of WvW players left to play this gamemode ^^

As u see there is a lot of ways to balance out WvW without many problems, but Anet and players( except maybe 0,1% or even less) don’t want to do it

Such amazing idea…Or just all play thief and camp for each other to take him out of WvW and ruin his fun….Maybe let’s set same for pve? U die once and u won’t be able to play it anymore till next week. U know at WvW u clash pretty many times with enemy group and die a lot of times so yeah it would be nice to cut off enemy few times by op guilds( like NB, dF, vE, aX aaaaand much more) that are much better than pug zerg / blob and bah, win without any problems.

Your other solutions require self (players) balancing and that isn’t going reliably self fix itself. And there are other problems with those ‘balancing solutions’ (not going to get wound up in those right now). And by not many problems, do you mean anet and .1 % of players not wanting to do it are the only problems with those solution, because i don’t see you mention any problems with those ‘solutions’.

-Its a quick game as mentioned. With harsher consequences. Might be too hardcore for some though. It’s quick so you wont have to wait a week. But while you’re dead you can just spectate how others in your team are doing and sit back a little and watch the action while you wait…and if your team’s good, it wont be long.

Actually I was typing about ppl who want to play with their guildmates( not some multi server guilds…). If RNG get into action it will be like with EoTM taxi ppl into other maps, but they won’t be able to do so cos it will be limited with spots…and once again spying and trolling will be even greater :P

Ye so it should be 10 min matches or less, cos if u maybe don’t know a lot of ppl play WvW for 3h+ and spectating won’t be good tho. Even pvp don’t have such rule U just want to take away fun from ppl and force them to sit duck out of combat to not get killed lol. Ohh and they will just do it, sit back behinde siege and w8 till enemy come, but enemy will do same and everyone will just sit and camp without engaging and waiting for enemy that won’t come… Yeah! It will bring much more ppl to WvW and totally won’t kill this gamemode…

Problem with languages is still staying aswell, cos u didn’t write down any good sollution. Or maybe u did – I wrote u up there why previous 1 isn’t option.

Ehhhh just get to Earth and think again about this idea, cos I gave a lot of reasons why this doesn’t have rights to exist.
