this is just plain nuts!
Some player need progression and some want to be better in gear so they can hide there lower skill.
I wish in WvW were the same rules like in tPvP every armor can be bought by a vendor and every Player is level 80.
Make WvW pools which will be announced 1 Month before a season starts and every guild can join a wvw pool, no matter which server they are. Is the pool full none can get in this pool.

yep, a pvp locker is needed in wvw – but instead it’s pulling into the pve grind game. I’m a mesmer in light armor that moves slower than a constipated yak, so I’m looking for any extra points I can get to compete with warriors and paladins whom wear heavy armor and move faster than an ostrich on 50 cappuccinos, and thieves that are visible long enough to stab you and stay invisible while running just as fast.
My brain hurts from trying to figure out how to play this game normally.
it appears you have to be psychotic to get the “Best Gaming Experience”

Wow there sparky…it seems you still have to learn a bit or two before you start blaming the game. For starters, there are no paladins in this game: they’re called Guardians. Second, you could try using Rune of the Traveler to speed up your movement, or try using a focus, a sword or your teleport skills. Thirdly, speed is the mesmer’s ‘weakness’ if you will…you’re not supposed to be as fast as a thief or a warrior, or at least not without gearing towards it.
what if i told you, that you don’t need legendary?
never actually interested in making one one, i would rather craft a dozen ascended rather than spend my gold making one legendary. (i have the gold and resources to make 2 or more legendary but i would rather tuck it away and play a game of capitalism on the trading post)
and believe me the prize of the wvw season 1 chest would be suck enough to make the people who transfer server wail for their money.
guild wars 2 offers many ways to have fun, and if you don’t have enough fun you can always spends your time doing something more fun than sit at your computer ranting about injustice. wvw in its state now is broken, yes everyone know that and a net is trying to fix that (or at least looks trying to fix it)
if you have something to complain just write it down on the official topics and get your fingers crossed the developers will read it
…..and now crafting weapons is completely useless because items are being listed for 6 gold less than what they cost to make – why ?
because crafting isn’t about buying all the components off the TP and assembling them to save on the manufacturing costs, it’s about using the components you’ve accumulated over time from playing the game.

Paladins = knights = guardians = all the same concept – different underwear.
a man wearing 44 lbs of metal – can run faster than someone wearing silk…..Right!!
an inherent weakness ? nowhere in the lore does it say mesmers were born bowlegged. You figure wearing silk for armor – the first thing they’d teach you in mesmer school is how to run ….and fast!
on tp parts – it’s actually cheaper to buy computer parts to assemble than buy a prebuilt computer – because the pre-built has extra parts you don’t need.
wvw is a wrestling match between a sumo wrestler and a wrestler from elementary school – who’d win ?! – ok everyone, act surprised!!
I’m glad you find this stuff logical – but it’s illogical!!
and yes, the way to have fun is to simply not have any feelings about it or regard to logic – hence psychotic!

LOL, pre-built systems are more expensive because of the labour cost associated with having someone else assemble it, not because of any “extra parts”. My post made specific mention of why you can’t apply that logic to crafting.
For it to be comparable, you’d have to be a in a situation where you also get free computer components from your job every once in a while.

I’ll just have to put a straw in my coffee and sip it through my nose to flow with the crowd!

Psychopaths tend to be very logical because they are void of emotion. You are trying to apply logic in something that is based off fantasy. That in itself is illogical.
ahh, thanks for explaining why bandwaggoners have no server loyalty.
