During a fight between Durios and Umberglade in eternal battle ground I just got thrown waaaay up in the air high above the trees and died form falling damage, I wastn quick enough to gt a print screeen but has any1 ever experienced this before?

What’s worse is getting pulled into a keep wall by a dragon hunter and then being stuck there for 5+ min because you can’t break combat to wp.

Yes couple times. Usually happens when enemy pull you in right place.

Beware those gentle slopes….

If you get pulled against uneven terrain it can happen, watch out for small slopes!

I got hit with supersonicized death off of Fire North east wall once, never knew who did it as there were about 15 likely suspects below the wall at the time, and didn’t realize till I was falling how high I’d been flung. Anyway, it’s nice to know whoever did it wasn’t hacking. That was about 4 months ago and hasn’t happened to me since, so the spots where that can happen must be few.

Since you actually die from falling though (I don’t believe your armor is broken if you were still alive during your descent) just curious though, does the enemy get loot after?

This happens to me often enough that I’m starting to think its an actual Mesmer mechanic.
And yes, the fall damage has killed me.

They should if they hit damage threshold…I usually run by the thought that 1k damage is minimum aim for loot on wvw bag farm…I’ve rifle butted people off cliffs in air region of desert and hills on alpine for easy bag

Yeah pulling from upper ground or off the ledges like walls can cause that.

You can also pull people from outside inside sm if you have 2 people to pull with, 1 guy throws him in the air and other guy pulls him from the air on top of the wall.

Yeah i made people fly with my knockbacks, especially that ramp down at south Fire keep can be tricky when it comes to that. Although hard to reproduce.

If youre on a wall as DH and the enemy is standing downstairs at the wall, when the wall has this round foot (i hope you know what i mean) just pull him up, 1/10 times you can pull him up to YOU, yes up the wall. other 1/10 times he will just skyrocket in the air and die by falling damage.

I’ve had it done to me and had fellow roamer partners do it.

I did it on a rare chance once with necro with spectral grasp since that move never works anyways and another time with my thief using scorpion wire. Seen my engi friend use the magnet pull as well and annihilated an evade thief, it was glorious to witness.

The best is when you can land it just right with someone defending a tower and using a pull, throws them really super high lol

Ofc, get 10 DHs into the raid, and pull all at the same time. Anet-Space program inc.

Launches/Knockbacks will also make it happen.I even did it with riflebutt where someone against a slope flew up in the air.

If you use a pull on someone on very specific slopes, you can kill them with fall damage. Any slope with ~45-60* incline with you standing up top and them on the bottom will do it.

Finally happened to me the other night. I think i managed to not die from the fall but just barely. Had i not already seen this thread it would have freaked me out no doubt.

this has happened to me but to a lesser extent with ranger lb4 and engi toolkit5.

can some one make me a montage of this glitching happening to people, I didn’t know it existed and now I want more of it in my life

Happened to my opponent last night. I was on my Warrior, and that Necro was running away. I used shield 4 (or hammer, I do not recall that exact part clearly) and Necro flew into the air. I was a little bit surprised. He fell down (not dead), we stared each other for a second and continued our chase.

Been in the game since launch… don’t think it will ever get fixed. Typically happens on uneven terrain.
