If i understand correctly from the wiki, warbringer unsheathe form only has the sides protruding a little with the fire burning more brightly.

i think that the sheath and unsheath form should have more contrast like the pvp wings.

is it possible for the sheath form to have spikes retracted and burning dimly and for the unsheath form to have spikes out and burning brightly?

I think you can answer your own question.

This is what they decided on. This is what they shipped. They have a history of not changing what they ship unless it causes something explicitly undesirable such as excessive clipping, unwanted colours (like when predator got changed), or just plain breaks the game in a physical way such as due to glitches.

actually i like that it is not so much only in the “epic” form while weapons are drawn

I like that it looks just as good when standing around as it looks while fighting
