Its so anoying when waypoints be contested in wvw.
Maybe isnt for high lvl chars but for low lvls that die fast its very boring to need to spawn at the other end of the map then run in 10 min (or more if you dont know the way), then die again and repeat.

Its should be one waypoints in each corner of the map there you could spawn and they should not be contested. Because when i have run the same way 10 times its not fun to explore anymore. Other games with big maps have mounts so you dont need to walk 10-15mins to have fun.

If you could get to the action within a minute or less, then there is absolutely no penalty for death any longer. Keep it the way it is.

It is fine the way it is. Just be smart in a fight. Know when to fall back.

Not to mention I bet if you actually timed it, unless you arE fighting at literally the opposite side of the map…it does not take ten minutes to walk places in WvW. The maps aren’t that big. Maybe five. But like your base to the bay or hills? (Whichever is on your side) should take like….two minutes.

Making sure an enemy wp is contested constantly is sometimes an essential part of taking down a keep/tower, I’d say. For that reason, I don’t think this is needed.
