Everywhere I’ve read says FOUR leagues in NA, except Devon’s post on the forums stating

“I’ve consistently said we are doing 2 leagues in NA and 3 in EU. The leagues will be broken up strictly by world rating at the conclusion of the matchup prior to the league start.”

TWO leagues is a hair-brained idea. Only 4-5 servers in all NA will have a chance at winning. Server transfers prior to start will go through the roof (but I suppose that’s the whole point right?)

My theory is that the WvW dev’s bring a great idea to their bosses who reject it, so they come back with a slightly less-great idea 20 times until finally their original idea is now garbage and their boss says “brilliant!”

Maybe it’ll help motivate PvE servers to become WvW servers. I dunno, we’ll see how it turns out. Server transfers do cost a fair bit and I don’t yet think we know what the rewards are.
