last week i had the idea of using some statistical data to calculate top 10 lists for guilds holding/claiming objectives over time

Good job, but holding/claiming objectives doesn’t really tell you that much about guild performance. It probably wouldn’t be hard job make some match-up statistics and give rewards for match-up top guilds and players. They already know how many enemies every player kill, how many towers they cap and so on.

how do you check for actual guild participation/effort?

If all you’re counting is claimed objectives over time, that’s not really a representation of anything… anyone could’ve claimed it regardless of who actually took it, and the claimer could leave right after, never to return to the objective after claiming it, while others stick around to defend it.

turning this into a leaderboard would just push ppl to rush claims.

what is that select match? im on mobile but it shows me just numbers.

would be nice to get all these data from the official gw2 api
or provide an api were the guilds can publish their statistics (but how to prove the correctness)

this is only the match id from the api yet (i will resolve it with the wvwvw names)
