what server should i xfer to?
Go to tier 1.
A lot of players are going to say “blob fest blablabla”. But T1 is not what it was anymore. Even in some hours is pretty dead.
I played in every tier. The truth is while the time passed less and less people play this game. T1 is the most stable and with more people of all tiers.
You can try T2. You can get crushed for weeks if you are in the weakest server because the lack of people and commanders, and the last thing I heard is that the GvG scene is trying to rebuild there, but without the support of Anet is going to die again, that and the lack of players make that tier pretty unstable. I was there (SOS) and transferred to T1.
Take a look to http://mos.millenium.org/na/matchups/ you can see how many tiers are balanced in WvW. And you can know what to expect, crush or get crushed.

Ive always been on SOR but recently we have been doing horrible in wvw (tier 8, dead last.)
i got map completion on a few chars but im trying to get it on my thief, he literally needs just 1 POI in EB, but every week for the last month we own nothing in EB, not even our own stuff.
wvw is so unpredictable, but what is a good server to xfer to for consistency? i dont want to xfer then next week find out my new server no longer likes wvw.
You only want to transfer for the POI? Wagonbrand seens like a good choice, along with SoS and FA. One of these 3 will always be on T3 and will certainly always dominate the match.
Until one of them colapse, this will be innevitable.

Get some friends and go ninja whatever it is that you need for that one POI. Supply up (15 min but 20 is best), go straight there while staying out of sight the best you can. Do not flip camps. Do not flip sentries. Do not start ramming or catapulting or whatever until all siege is built. Then cross your fingers and blast away. Fortune favors the bold.

I met some new players in JQ from SoR last weekend around NA time. They had just left SoR. They are looking at rebuilding their guild , i think it was [Rite] from SoR players and any1 else. Nice friendly bunch.

Any of the Tier 1 servers are good. I transferred to Tarnished Coast from Kaineng awhile back, and am loving WvW again! Non stop action almost all the time!

I used to be against server transfers, but I’m about to do it. Since anet won’t fix wvw, and one servers outnumbers the other two combined every week. I want to see servers lose population and start the death spiral that anet has ignored. My server has already lost all of it’s wvw guilds. It gets old trying to steal a few camps and sentries every night. Really old.
If you can command, go to one of the lower tier servers.\
Or even if you have the patience to sentry and upgrade your third.

If you’re looking for stability try a T1 server, or even T2. (Though over time the T1 servers have been more stable.)
I know JQ has former rallians on it, who are in wvw daily. (Maybe some you know?)

No server has the moral high ground simply because they are stacked during NA Prime. It is the same game just with more people. 50v10 at 8PM EST is no better than 4v20 8AM EST. Besides FA/SoS/YB have high pops outside of prime throughout the day. YB just has more even coverage.
That aside, there are a lot of great fights in T2 pretty much any time of the day.

Transfer to an EU server instead. Anything apart from SFR.

SoS definitely needs more numbers to balance out t2 competition. If you’re not into blob fight, t3 is a better option.
