Ok i guess i will just open the threat as this will be a hot topic this week

With the current server transfer i want to switch to a server which has a bit more competitive wvw. (was very dissapointed with my server choice once i went to wvw the first time, had already lvl 50 thought and didnt want to start over again).

I am currently on FOW and we always switch between the same 3 enemy servers it seems (WSR, VABI,BT), with us crushing WSR + VABI and getting crushed by everyone else.
We also dont seem to have any propler wvw guilds, i am in one of the few ones which actually do wvw but there is not much group plays involved, we just mindlessly run after objectives and crash unorganised into enemy zergs without any tactic or order.

Dont get me wrong i am having fun but i would also like to experience proper Guild zergs which are able to take on bigger zergs with good teamplay.

I dont like to have queques in wvw so a server without would be good and T1 not really an option,
I am currently eyeballing Abbadons mounth or kodash (i am german), which do you think offers the best wvw experience currently?

It totally depends on what you prefer. If you got a decent PC care the most about zerg v zerg and fast phase wvw (i.e. no T3 kitten and all) go for the higher tiers of wvw. Piken Square (been there, done that) runs mostly on guilds and guilds only (completly dead at night, but ultra strong during prime). They have a great community and what not. Same goes for Dragonbrand (real good SEA coverage).

If you also care about some smaller scale go to middle tier (GH, AG (both have some scarely good guilds)).

The main difference is that you’ll be rofl stomped allot less if you’re running alone/small group in the middle tier.

Ahh yeh, then the queue’s. Every server above the rank of ~16/17 will have queue’s during prime time.

Seems the servers in the lower tiers (at least on NA) have the more competitive scores. Tier 1 will be competitive, but you might have to wait to get into fight sometimes.

Mid tiers aren’t too bad either.

I think a lot of the time it really comes down to how the system is gonna match you up with other servers.

With the leagues starting, I would think that the lowest league is going to have the most consistently competitive match ups.

On NA for example, we know the top 3 will compete for gold, while the other 3 in the league will get steam rolled. And the top 3 will only face off against each other in a match up, maybe 2 or 3 times in 7 weeks.

Silver is gonna get dominated by the 7th placed server, with the 8th competiting as well. Everyone else is gonna get dominated. Now, with it being 7 weeks, this league is hardly going to have any competitive match ups.

Bronze has been picked clean, so the numbers seem closer, and I think this league will have the most competitive match ups. Sure, the top 2 servers will most likely win in this league, but overall, the match ups should be closer all around.

This is subject to change as people take advantage of the pre season server transfer sale.

I think you are looking for a wvw guild and not for a server transfer in particular.
