WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald
WvW with PvE is perfectly fine, it’s open map play. Not the little cage and zone camping that is PvP.

This. We have to take the wellbeing of both players and AI into account. Expand your horizons, OP.
New changes that split certain skills between pve/pvp consider wvw pve.
Sure is a good thing there’s no player vs player content in wvw. lolps in case a dev sees- what really needs to be split is confusion (passive ticking great for pve, should be dmg only on skill use in pvp to promote counter play). And other stuff that makes the pvp more complex and fun, requires more thoughtful use of skills/timing etc. In pve spamming away all night and all day is great but a fight is more rewarding in pvp if you actually know what you’re doing and not just facerolling. Thought these were going to be the skills split and not… 5 seconds longer cd on headbutt’s 20s elite cd. rip
Don’t forget group play. You know, that thing that the whole game mode was actually build for and around ….
While it is powerful in 1v1, especially vs total scrubs that couldn’t put together a decent build if their real life depended on it because its not zerker or not up on metabattle, ultimately I do not see this as an issue of any importance.
WVW needs to be balanced around large scale 1st and foremost, then all the dinky stuff after. 1v1 comes in very last on that ladder.
Don’t take my word for it, go play a power based guard ,or rev or scrapper for a weekend, then next weekend log onto a condi mes and experience the difference.
