hey anet…I roam a lot wvw and there is nothing more annoying than running into a player and fighting… and when u get him to low health he uses a transformation and turns into like a beast troll thing..looks like troll champion from queensdale and when he transfor he can stealth and run super quick….plz fiz it..ps I don’t know if this is a good catorgory to put this in lol

That would be the Snow Leopard racial elite skill.

Yeah, snow leopard is pretty good for classes that don’t have a good escape mechanism to use… Too bad you need to be Norn since it’s racial.

Snow leopard is pretty good for classes that don’t have a good escape mechanism. Thats why i use it on necromancer- this is the only way to have any good escape option. And yes- too bad to only norn can use it.
But when i play thief, mesmer, or warior i dont need snow leopard- those class have enought good escape options.
So Tom.5804 you blame some pll that they use the only viable escape option- like necro ?
And with class You play for roam?

Actually i don’t think he knew about the snow leopard racial… I don’t blame him tho. It’s not very popular I’d say since i don’t see it much often.

I saw a norn ranger use it earlier today, first time i’ve seen it used as an escape… dang that thing is fast…

Nice assumption that is was a exploit. Considering all races have racial elites and I cant think of ANY reason why using them correctly would be an exploit, you have wrongly accused players of cheating

I do agree its overpowered and unfair etc, but thats like saying playing a roaming thief is an exploit because its better. Obviously, Im not going through the trouble of finding the post or quote, but dev’s have said in the past that they limited racial elites in sPvP and purposely left them in WvW. They made the game, they knew what this did when they made that statement so, please re-make post as a plea to nerf this skill because this thread is very misleading.

I just whone explain You how it works

1. You dont answer:
With class You play for roam?
And why?

2. About roam on wvsw?

For roam some classes are great, and some bad or weery bad.
Thats why we chose classes for play- becose we like do x,y,z and fot this class a,b,c will be great
Like you shal not roam with necro- its to slow cd to big.
When you face 1 enmey its oki but this is not spvp. On wvsw can come more pll to help him.
You my have fight “fair” on 1vs1 but then come 1,2,3,x another player, what you do?
- if you play class with good escape options Like invisibility or mobility you use it to escape from “bad fight” (1vs3+ usually its “bad fight”). And can still roam.
-if you play clas who dont have invisibility or mobility- you DED- end of roaming.

Thats why some classes can be good on roaming and some bad.
And thats why i use Snow Leopard racial elite skill on my necro- becose this is the only good escape option for this class.Its becose not all player playing necromancer like move with zerg whole time- but outside of zerg in wvsw necromancer is bad so what to do? change class to roaming or use elite skill?

And i think ALL class shal have some chance to escape from fight- it may be invisibility or mobility or x,y,z. Or who whone be a free kill??
Thats why you face so many thiefs, mesmers, warior, or other classes on roam.
Its META for now on good wvsw roam.
And if you have enought knowlege you will know that x,y,z class cannot escape from fight so he can only win or die- most time die in wvsw (1vsx) and its almost like a free kill when i roam my thief mes or war in wvsw.

Classes chosen for roam may not be so good for zerg- but thats a diferent story.
Just look at wvsw zerg.

platform shoes … one must not forget platform shoes. sometimes that could be the iroot of snowleapord issues. but i wouldn’t know, not like i’m a igenius or anything. Just a short Norn from Holbrak by way of IoJ. Ohh, lunchcheck. Better re-heat my 3 day old moot meat.

And this is the point of chosing classes :

“warrior= high dmg high survalialbliy …
my fav is warrior….I like that high dmg and tanky of it…I like it CAUSE IT FITS MY PLAYSTYLE”
I think all hight dps+high survibality fits most pll playstyle

But make some classes muth beter than other its a balance issue here and shal be (i hope will be) fixed after 2 years from relase of gw2
