i am sure, you all know the fee(32g/20$) to transfer to a decent server. I also know it was free before but i see no point in it being free because before that time my server did alright lost some and won some. NOW i am sick of losing. everyone transfered out which really imbalanced the servers. TO this day we have not won a single wvwvw and before this guesting we tanked 5th or 6th.

to me it was the best server. as dev’s described it, free wvwvw transfer will let you decide which one is the best. i thought cd was best server for me until every guild decided to transfer and i did not know about this unlit it was too late.

so i have come here for help? what to do? I STILL WANT TO PLAY wvwvw…where i am not ‘murdered’ when i step outside. btw commanders on cd are rare plus sometimes stupid no offense.

i loved wvwvw before the jan update and now gave up since who their right mind enjoys losing.

i want to transfer out. I dont have an income(student) nor have the gold to turn in to fee. i have put in 100+hrs so i don’t want to delete my char just to transfer. is there any other way?

also a suggestion….make worlds with high pop to medium pop. there are no small pop servers.

My server lost a lot of matches and we got over it, found our tier, and we have a blast with a smaller scale WvW.

I don’t think that’s what you want to hear though. I guess you want to know why you can’t transfer to a winning server for free whenever your server is losing? No offence but I guess I’d say it’s ’cause of people like you.

i have never transfered to anyother server. i am not like those who definatly want win but i am sick of it. we never found tier, still imbalanced by a lot. after playing for 2 months and getting nothing, now i am even looking at a transfer. NEVER before i have transfered out cause i was losing.

Sounds like what our side’s going through, tbh. The only advice I can give you is to:
1.) Guest a bit on different servers, get a vibe for how people interact.
2.) While doing so, bust out some mad dungeons for Gold. (Preferably with high MF food and/or EQ, so as to max your ingame looting.)
3.) You can always ask around the main maps, how the local WvW set is. Populated, ghost town, moderate?
4.) Eventually find (and migrate to) your new home.

The problem, as we all know, is that months of folks migrating to “winning” servers en masse, has unbalanced the crap out of many servers’ populations. And, I don’t foresee any “forced” relocation happening. After all, that’d really torque folks off. Not every person who swapped servers -free transfer or paid- is a “bandwagoner.”

In my opinion it will take several weeks/months before there will be a “balanced” ladder. Although there will be some Server not fitting. Neither the lower nor the higher bracket :-/

If you think so too it will be better to wait for a transfer.

Nevertheless if you don´t have the money for a transfer, farming isn´t that bad and making 1-2 gold/day is easily achievable :-)

You’re still not too bad in tier 4. I don’t really know if it’s as bad as you’re makin it sound. At a quick glance, your tier seems it is middle of the pack for how balanced it is.

I highly recommend you wait until the March patch before u make your decisions. I am not speaking for everyone, but there are many people that I know of who are not doing much WvW but PvE while waiting for the patch, myself included. The patch might make a difference in your server’s performance afterwards, I think 1 to 2 weeks u should able to see the real effect, and I think that’s best time to make your decision.

If you transfer…come to tarnished coast.

I don’t understand all the fuss with HIM transferring to a server HE desires, using HIS own money. He’s just asking for help, give help or don’t post anything.

The best way to earn gold ATM is to farm CoF path 1. about 5 gold/hour with a good group, still 3+ gold/hour with an average group.

CD is a server with a strong Oceanic/east Asia presence which keeps them in T4. As a result their NA players will always find themselves matched against much larger NA heavy servers such as YB or Mag. Some players prefer to play the outnumbered underdog & use havoc ‘hit & run’ guerrilla tactics but it’s not for everyone. If you’re not already part of a WvW guild then I would say join one, & as rchu said, at least wait till the March update & see what that has to offer.

You’re still not too bad in tier 4. I don’t really know if it’s as bad as you’re makin it sound. At a quick glance, your tier seems it is middle of the pack for how balanced it is.

The problem is that CD has a very, very narrow band of coverage, at this point, which is holding them in the tier. Making it painful for players like this one who are not in that band of coverage.

the thing that kitten me off is i will love if our rank was lowered, i dont care about tiers, just good match up. not destroyed by servers on day one. sometimes 2 servers hold less then 10% of the points.

i love wvwvw that is why i came here, i gave up due to discouraged by constant lost and reading the update note to wvwvw i really want to play where it not getting killed 4*more then you kill someone else.

TC has many ex-CD folks over there. I’d personally recommend guesting with them as a potential destination.

You have to make the transfer money, it’s not terribly long process, you could farm it up. Definitely do the dragon’s and either dungeons like COF or fractals whatever is your preference.

For now, I would stay off WvW to both retain focus on your objective, and not get discouraged by hitting that frustration point too. Wouldn’t want ya to leave altogether. Also WvW not making ya money

Get to point A, then consider ‘carefully’ about the point B (destination). Move to a server that fits your play style preference (if your all about numbers, higher up, if your more about smaller scale squad style … plenty of good servers mid to lower).

Yep, playing during the NA time zone on CD is pretty barren with no commander most of the time. We struggle to maintain 100 ppt and most keep defenses involve about 5-6 of us defending against 20+ groups from Mag or SBI. I can see why a lot of CD people who play during NA want to transfer. If you really want to be sure you are on a winning server for the long haul, I would also wait to see what impact the release of TESO has on WvW population since it has a similar realm vs realm system that appears to be better designed than this one.

Northern Shiverpeaks has a good presence during primetime with a lot of good fights, Come check us out. And our tier is not a zergfest unless you prefer that type of style. Small groups do very well in our tier.
