Are you going to make it available for purchase using gems in BLTC?

Or is it limited only to those who used real money to buy gems in the past?

In the mail we received it said they will be available soon in the Gems store.

If anyone hasn’t logged in yet and is wondering they are 500 gems each.

The letter says you’ll receive one if you bought gems between April 1st and June 30th (so if you did and didn’t receive it yet it should be on the way as they roll them out in waves).

They are account-bound.

The price is fine, if you want it you can pay with $$$ or gold after all. (That is if you want it).

It’s like town clothing without the town clothing part. You double click it and you wield it like an environmental weapon, but if you get hit, you’ll switch to your IC weapons.

Note: You can wear Town Clothing or PvE clothing (or PvP clothing in HotM) while having the Kite out. It’s infinite uses, as well.

Just try this out, the fun thing: you can use the kite while you transformed.

Destroy them then, personally I like these small novelty items and I’ve set aside a full bank-tab for the upcomming ones.

It’s novelty. I sure as hell would pay up to 1000 gems for one. But it’s only 500, win-win for me.

Esplen has a nice screenshot here, you basically buy the guild kite with one of the kites and gold.
