Small change to Zephyrite Staff request
Well, seeing as he daggers have no real animation either, I would have to request something for them as well if something for the staff is implemented.

I think lightning trail would fit well for the daggers (I chose daggers too!), the glow suits staff perfectly.
Right now Pistol is kinda underwhelming. I think maybe they should do a visual and audio change, where it shoots lightning bolts.

I think that’s too much for these weapons, either add the lightning trail or glow.

Maybe a lightning trail to the bullets! :O
Come on, you know Pistol needs more love! <3

If the pistol gets a trail, then everyone will want something similar for every other weapon. Right now we are just asking for a balance since some weapons have more effects than others.
Ugh
I mean, I guess it’s a neat idea, and I wouldn’t want to detract from you wanting something, but I picked it based on how it was ‘now’. It’ll be Rogue Mechanic shorts in TSW all over again (though they fixed that nicely, giving us two copies).
I’m using the staff now, and I can tell you if it glowed so much that it distracted from me getting to ‘see’ my character as I see my character now, that would be a bummer.
But, I guess if you get what you want, all is fair in love and war. I’ll have to burn a Crystal to use something else again, and burn a gold on some skin from the TP.
Ugh

I believe you didn’t get me, it would glow only when casting skills… it can’t distract if it does a quick glow, also, there are a LOT OF staves without any effect in-game already.

Oh.
I thought you meant sheathed on the back.
Nevermind.
Does sound kinda fun. Extra glowy stuff while fighting is a plus.
I really like how it shrinks down small when it’s sheathed too, and then grows when you go into fighting mode. I wish the top part folded up even more, to be honest.

The reason I’m asking them to change is because when you draw the staff it pops a so beautiful yellowish glow, and it’s a shame it happens only when drawing the weapon, it doesn’t need to stay glowing strong permanently while in fight but when casting skills it would be very cool!
Off topic but inspired by this post…Wouldn’t it be cool if they introduced weapons that actually changed the animation or spell effects of your abilities? Maybe too much work or will affect WvW or something, but I think they would be popular.

Yeah that would be.

I think some of the legendaries do that? Like the unicorn bow?
I think effects should be made carefully, we don’t want them to overlap, right? Either they add weapon-focused effects or skill-focused effects, either is fine for me.
