I almost wonder if Anet should consider making a GW2: Factions expansion based on cutthroat politics. Imagine instead of Kurzick vs Luxon it was Team Kiel vs Evon supporters XD

In all seriousness though, I hope the results of this content really carries forward in the next piece of living story, it hasn’t even started yet and everyone (myself included) seems to be loving it! ^^

Of course it will carry forward. Expect to know the results next month but don’t expect it to have an effect on the other living story so soon.

That’s part of the reason I don’t play EVE. I wish I thought this kind of nonsense was fun, but it’s a little too close to the stupidity of recent RL politics (at least in America) for me to find it entertaining.

By players it already has become absurd in-game and in the forums, what with people abandoning logic and ignoring other’s statements to try to discredit any opinions that disagree with theirs. Just like real elections, it’s already making me feel sick.
