Dragon Ball: I don't like wearing PvP armor
I kind of agree.
But then again as I kill every noob in the other team.. I tend not to really care that they didn’t dress up?

My spvp character is dressed exactly the same as my pve/wvw one except it isn’t carrying a legendary…i don’t see a problem.
Maybe you should actually try spvp one day. Takes 1 day to get a nice suit.
Agree with this because the game does not use normal SPvP skills.

No it doesn’t…

“Hello everyone, I am here to post in hopes of self gratification. I myself, me, no one else, not the majority am dressed EXACTLY how I am in pvp. I don’t see a problem at all. After all, if i’m doing fine for myself, everyone should follow my lead and no one else matters. Hopefully in posting, I have brought attention to myself so that people believe I am very good at sPvP.”
I had been an avid spvper for awhile and I do have some nice things unlocked, some of which aren’t even avaliable on the pve side of things, and also have Eternity but seriously. Not everyone enjoys spvp but everyone CAN enjoy an event like this, so what is the problem with them looking pretty/festive/cool as they want to? I am so tired of the “You should try this, its not hard, it only takes (insert completely incorrect timeframe to finish).” talking down onto players. To top it off you have to mention a Legendary. Juvenile and annoying much? Your post has no relevance to the topic at hand other than crying for attention. Run along and consider yourself spanked. Please.
I think its a great idea. I dont think the devs thought about it really. Probably the arena gametype automatically equips us in such gear equal to what we have in sPvP so most of it was probably automatic. Maybe for future events they can take a look at changing the structure so that others can look cool
You should have an eternity, it takes seriously like 1 month to get and that’s all. Derrrr

wow god forbid pvp players to get a chance at using their gear outside of hotm, no sir we can’t have that
my Spvp character is dressed up in the Arah dungeon armor which I do not have for PvE so this a pretty subjective matter.

Ugly to you, Practical to me.
This is not normal SPvP, it’s considered a mini game.
In the future Anet should give any player the option to wear Town Clothing, SPvP armor or PvE armor in these mini games. As long as the rules to the game uses unique skills.
why are you looking at your character??
It’s pvp, so you wear pvp-armor. Why should pvp-players be forced to wear pve-armor in what is clearly pvp?
By the way the topic title was changed to make it seem less quote controversial quote. I myself would never use a direct first person reference in a title.

I could convert my glory right now if I wanted, but Dolyak-rank rewards aren’t exactly the same as Dungeon or T3 armor + weps.

What do you want to spread, that they make a buck from extremely irresponsible (and perhaps borderline maniac) customers who desire stat-less vanity skins?
So surely it doesn’t matter that you wear pvp armor? I mean, skins don’t affect your stats! Right?
This just seems like a silly thing to even be talking about………….

I cant even believe someone is complaining about this…
Should put you in town clothes so they serve more of a purpose.

Illyiah – Revenant
I’ll be honest… I really don’t see why it matters all that much.
I guess the feel that PVE’ers are being visually separated from the PVP’ers and made targets or something, but honestly I sPVP all the time with my Ranger and despite my rank (not that I’m a super duper high rank or anything, but I’m no Bunny rank) she’s still in the starter skins. I just think they look cool. -Shrug-
If that’s made me a target, ah well. I don’t really think the mini game lends itself to target calling, it seems more, “murder the nearest person and avoid groups // set traps in tunnels” kind of thing.
Weighted clothing?

Well I can’t believe that you clicked on this thread and cared enough to write a reply. See the irony, no?
This also isn’t specific to Dragon Ball. We had quite some PVP mini-games already and we’ll likely see many more in the future (in all of which this applied), so I think it’s more than a fair point to raise by now.

I do not know why you feel the need to stalk me or attempt to form a contrived argument directed at my person (instead of the topic at hand) out of two entirely different points of contention.
This is also called “trolling”.

Choice of that would be nice yes. Would also emphasize the “casual” character of the mini-games (or some of them).

You get a box for every tournament you win, netting you a full set of gear faster than running dungeons. If you are actually skilled and play with a consistency even slightly resembling the slavish devotion PvE farmers show to CoF, you’ll have a full set inside a “day”.
No-one gets gear from the kittened glory grind…

Because heaven forbid PvP provides a fun little overworld bonus!
See how your logic can be turned around bro-ski?
The game only benefits from integrating both PvP and PvE elements, drawing players from one to the other.
I don’t really have a problem with it save that my toon is currently in her underwear and I have no idea why. I guess because sPvP thinks she has no armour on at all? Has anyone else encountered this?
