So “the content has been temporarily disabled” preventing you from making it in the MF, anyone know why?

Also, shouldn’t it really be a mini holographic dragon on some kind seen as it’s the dragon bash event? o.0 … oh and I hope the shattered wings look like Kerrigan’s from starcraft 2 and not those midgety, hyper-active spyro wings.

But for the most part good-effort, it’s nice getting an event every month, keep it up!

There was an exploit with the mystic forge. People were throwing in 4 holo risen knights (worth 4g) and getting back rare and exotic minis (some worth 100 gold or more). If you look at gw2spidy you can see the price of all exotic and rare minis tanked for a couple hours last night because of this, until all recipes involving the knight were disabled.

Quick correction: The Shatterer =/= Kralkatorik.

The hologram in LA is the Shatterer. Kralkatorik is way bigger.

I am really crossing my fingers for this to happen. Players have done it, had actions taken, and been given another chance twice now. Leechers in Dragonball and Forge exploiters. Just give them all a nice time out for the rest of the event.

I am really crossing my fingers for this to happen. Players have done it, had actions taken, and been given another chance twice now. Leechers in Dragonball and Forge exploiters. Just give them all a nice time out for the rest of the event.

I did it once in order to confirm my theory on why exotic mini prices were tanking. I got a pink moa out of it, so I actually ended up losing gold.

On the plus side, I grabbed a mini oakheart off the trading post for 40g. Been wanting one of those since launch.

There’s already an Item code posted on the Wiki you can just input in /say,
…and then right-click preview… No spoilers but, they do look better than the other wings

Sigh… I JUST spent 500 gems to buy a second copy of the pets to make this…

I hope they re-enable it at some point.

Oh yes. I only expect the most egregious offenders to be banned, but it will be fairly easy to see who entered Dragon Ball multiple times with a health giving food. Likewise, there’s NO WAY that Moa Race cheaters can claim to be unaware of what they were doing.

they wont ban them, i mean look at the godskull precursor exploiters, they got to keep all the items they made and no smack on the wrist. just disabled the bug from future use.

And since it could be argued that all “exploits” are mistakes by Anet, exploiting would thus be allowed as really, you don’t “ban people for a mistake that Anet made.”

If someone repeatedly combined the holographic risen knights in an attempt to earn excessive amounts of cash then clearly they were exploiting a bug and should be penalised for it.

That’s a really good foundation to build a community on.

Every exploit should be used until A.Net fixes them, there should be no punishment for it.

In this case I see no reason to ban these players. There was nothing telling them that this wasn’t legit. It didn’t create any sort of loop or anything. They weren’t taking advantage of mispriced items. I don’t really see what they did wrong.

They simply saw a way to profit and took it before all of the masses realized it as well. Over time the rare minis prices would have gone up and the exotic ones would have gone down to where there was no profit.

In other cases I would probably agree that the players were taking advantage of the system… but this one… no.

P.S. I didn’t do any of the mini forging what so ever.
