I’m glad you like it, was about time WvW ppl got some new toy
For me what’s good about this update is that I only had to spend 3 mins inside of Eotm to get my achievements, so I never have to go back there and hopefully any WvW again.
So thx Anet for making the golem achievement supereasy to attain so that ppl who dislike WvW aren’t forced to spend more time in there then needed. I’m guessing this also pleases WvW ppl since this should prevent half the server being full of ppl who’s only interest is to charge the place where the parts are.
Balanced matches? I got into an OF last night where green owned one thing on the map. A whopping 4% of the map.
Depending on the OF you luck out on, I don’t see how these matches are balanced.

At least, if you fall on an unbalanced overflow, since the matches are only two hours, you can wait for the next and hop on at that time.
These matches are as balanced as players can make them… now, If green’s on that OF are doing nothing and are loosing, thus having players quit and the ones left outnumbered, it’s not EoTM’s fault, but the players.
made the second half of a match yesterday – it was great, two offensive tags, one defensive tag that kind of directed attacking forces, great cooperation, we won the match against mindless zergers.
Second one, one tag, noone listen, enemies in our tier, I left – as many others…
To get in more balanced matches, simply exit and re-enter. I had to do that a few times last night, really not much trouble at all. You will usually get into a different instance doing so, and likely find a better group of people, or if you’re lucky a map with multiple commanders working on objectives.
It’s not bad, but I do wish ANet would do a bit better matching the zerg queues. I saw some large guild zergs. It’d be nice if Anet would dump guild zergs together into the same instance, creating a more balanced gameplay. Because an organized large guild blob often rolls over pugs easily, especially one without a commander leading the charge.
The new edge of the mists map fills the void.

Not sure if you are serious or being a troll. This map is about small groups of players fighting NPCs with some occasional PvP. The AI is the main part of this map.

So true but makes for some pretty good champ farming while lvling your wvw
I’m thinking that this zone will end up like karka cove in a month.
221 hours over 1,581 days of bank space/hot pve/lion’s arch afk and some wvw.
I like this zone more because the people are more spread out and everyone isn’t running in a stacked zerg, they’re fighting spread out and the battles include more back and fourth fighting instead of stack, buff, charge, repeat
