Pact air fleet have defeated Zaithan and his minions.
Where is the fleet now? They are to weak to defeat little scarlet ships ?

Everything from the main story just vanished into a black hole.

They are in Orr, and since Lion’s Arch people didn’t think they would be attacked again, they didn’t bothered in asking for help. So if they come, i guess they’d come late.

Wouldn’t be epic LAME if they ask for help now, the pact comes from orr, a dragon appears in Lion’s arch and the pact kill it same way as they killed zhaitan? xD i would be LOL’ING for a year.

Actually, didn’t the Devs state somewhere that LS happens AFTER Zhaitan’s defeat?

I would think so, since Dragonbash included LS elements. Wasn’t Dragonbash semi-sort of inspired by Zhaitan’s defeat?

In correct the Living Story is stated to occur an year after Zhaitan’s defeat, so the Pact air fleet should be free to respond to Scarlet’s attack.

The living story afaik takes place post-defeat of Zhaitan. The heroes are all next generation heroes, directly in case of Rox and Braham.

So considering we as the player is the second in command of the pact, we should easily redirect a bunch of pact ships to LA plus artillery and other relevant forces. It not like the pact are not already heavily involved with the scarlet crisis.

There’s nothing saying that they aren’t going to show up… if Anet wanted to go for really living story, they’d appear about a week in, and all the events in LA would change completely- without it needing to be a new update.

Zhaitan’s forces took out most of the fleet. So, cabbage Marshall don’t have the resources to do kittens.

Then explain how the insane Lettuce has so many airships? If she can salvage them within a year’s time the Pact could triple the output with the sheer bulk of engineers within its ranks alone.

Ok let me rephrase the question, how exactly did she come into possession of the Airship technology? The Pact were the only faction shown to utilized the technology before the living story. If she simply salvaged down Pact Airships than why couldn’t the pact simply utilize the same methods?

You also have to remember that Scarlet trained under some of the people who worked for the Pact in creating their technologies – hence she learned their tricks. Beigarth is just one of the many who worked for the pact at one point (you see this in a PS quest).

We also see her porting in clockwork minions from an alternate future full of tech. Theoretically, she just ports an indefinite amount in from said clockwork reality since we have no idea exactly what or how much technology is just sitting there waiting to go.

The whole situation with the personal story is really annoying. They’ve completely dropped it. Hopefully they’ve abandoned the “oh but we don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t done it yet” reason from here on out. It’s been a year and a half, and we need things to start moving forward.
I really hope the next story “chapter” brings back the orders/pact (as-is, disbanded, or otherwise), as well as the characters we met through our personal story (at least the ones that are common to all paths).
