Fused Weapon Vendors: How long after event?
I was going to do the same question and I’ll add another one: are tickets going to drop from BLC after the event end?
EU Servers
Judging from past events they will most likely stick around for 2 weeks after Flame and Frost ends. Considering how rare it is for a ticket to drop from a BL chest it’d be nice if these Vigil vendors as well as the chance for a ticket to drop from a BL chest were permanent, but that’s just wishful thinking on my part.
I’ve been searching for an answer too. I’d like to know if I need to decide now on what weapon, or if I still have some time to debate I’d like to not waste a ticket.

This in incorrect information. The fused weapon tickets can be turned in to Evon Gnashblade who stands above the trading post in LA. There were winters day weapon claim tickets (I still have one) which could be used to trade for the weapons that could only be bought with gems. Even today, I just tried again, I can go to him with the winter claim ticket in my inventory and he will still trade me a wintersday gem store weapon.
So I would image since the fused ticket is the exact same mechanic and dialog screen when I go up to Evon with one, it will more than likely be available indefinitely, as long as the tickets exist.

I don’t rememeber there ever being any Wintersday claim tickets. The Wintersday weapon skins sold in the gem store did not need any claim tickets of any sort as you purchased the skins directly, the same way Braham’s and Rox’s weapon skins are purchased within the gem store right now. You must be referring to the Wintersday toy skins that you could either find in the different types of Wintersday gift drops during that holiday or purchase from the gift-exchange vendors during that holiday with Ugly Wool Hats, Sweaters, or Socks. The Wintersday gem store weapon skins and the toy skins are completely different.
I myself have never obtained a Fused Weapon Claim Ticket so I wasn’t aware Evon offered to exchange them for a weapon. That answers TC’s question but it would still be nice to know if the Fused Weapon tickets are a permanent BLC drop.

So since you don’t remember it must not exist. LOL at quotes like “you must be referring.”
So yeah this is what I was talking about and it has nothing to do with the trash green weapons that are still all over the market. This was used and YES STILL CAN BE USED to trade for the GEM STORE only winters day weapons, and like I said, it uses AND STILL DOES USE the same mechanics as the fused claim ticket.

Thanks for your input though, as it was quite valuable.
It’s getting a bit frosty in here. Badum-tshhh
I have 7 of those tickets and am not sure what weapons I want, as I don’t really like any, so I hope they stay available for purchase for some time yet.

Whoa! Chill, man! I never said they didn’t exist, just saying I never encountered such tickets nor remember anyone ever obtaining them. I stand corrected.

Haha.

Gosh, 7? I’ve been reading posts about people buying hundreds of keys and not getting diddly squat, but who knows if they’re for real or not. I’d go with the greatsword, hammer, axe, sword, shield, and a couple daggers myself…. the others (the guns especially) are pretty bland. Well, the longbow is nice too I guess.
Any word on wqhen theyll stop dropping? ugh finals week but i want one! 20ish keys with no luck lol
They have said that the fused gauntlets ticket will not disappear, I believe that the weapons tickets will be no different. Even the SAB currency will still be good next year.

You have a limited time to get the gauntlet ticket, you just dont have to use it right away.
I’m asking about the fused weapon skin ticket from the BLC. They tend to remove those.

You are the one that needs to chill bro. Reread how you talk and you tell me how you are not a piece of trash?
Exactly what about his words make him a “piece of trash” again? There’s absolutely nothing malicious or offensive in his post.
What’s with the nerd rage?
Two times you give wrong information. Then you have the nerve to tell me that I’m wrong and that I “must be referring to something else” and then you go into another long winded WRONG explanation. People like you make me sick. People like you need to the STFU when you don’t have the answer. Finally people like you, when they realize that they were wrong, need to simply say “my bad” I had no clue that existed because I’m a clueless piece of trash.
Did you get lost on the way to /b/?

Open your eyes bro. Read my first post. Where I kindly and intelligently explain the situation based on my own personal experience. I even indicated that I own one of the tickets and tried it out as I was making the post. Then instead of this dude being like oh my bad, I had no idea that existed, he goes on to make another post saying that I must be wrong and must be talking about the green weapons not the gem store ones. I have no patience for know it all pieces of trash that can’t admit when they were wrong and continue to make posts in disbelief that they could have possibly given invalid information.
So AGAIN to CLARIFY, the vendor who took the winterday claim tickets and the fused tickets, EVON GNASHBLADE, did still accepts ALL CLAIM TICKETS. He did not leave after two weeks. He did not stop taking the winter tickets after two weeks. The mechanics between the winter tickets and the fused are exactly the same so I would imagine he will accept the tickets as long as they exist in game.
In my opinion the kind of person that is incapable of admitting they were wrong, and continues to make posts saying the other person “must be referring to something else” is a piece of trash. Seriously did he even read my post? Goes on to say "winterday gem store weapons didnt even need a ticket blah blah blah, well thanks bro like I said in my OP there is a ticket and I just tried it again to see if its still claimable.

The reason they make the tickets redeemable with Evon Gnashblade is so that you have an infinite timeframe to turn them in. I’ve got an extra weapon ticket myself, and know a few people who still have wintersday tickets.
Basically, Evon’s entire existence (other than being lorewise the guy that runs the BLTC and sits on piles of currency and items so fast they would blind lesser mortals with their girth) is specifically as “the backup vendor” for all BLTC related limited time items like these tickets.
