I’m wondering about the drop rate of Wind Catcher Skin (and Lightning and Sun).
How many people have drop one ? I’ve buy a lot of Zephyr Sanctum Supply Box, as a lot of people, but nothing. I asked players in game, but same answer : they bought a lot of box but nothing.

So, what is the drop rate of this skin and have you drop it once ? The same as Chaos of Lyssa before update ?

This is the only item from the previous season we can’t trade with tokens, so it might be better to increase the drop rate ?

You can’t trade for the dragon bash holo wings (or the shattered wings), the desert rose, the zephyr rucksack, the monocle, the halloween skins, the toybag back piece, and many, many others. At least you can buy the wind catcher skin on the trading post, unlike the toybag.

We can’t drop it this season but it was possible previously, it was not possible for most of the items you’re speaking about. There are rewards for people who finish success (except for halloween skins and dragon wings I if remember well).
Anyway, there is no item from Chrismas or Halloween, and I’me speaking about item from the Festival of the 4 Winds, not another.

The rucksack and the desert rose were both from the Labyrinthine Cliffs.

I’ve opened maybe 500 boxes, and I obtained 1 sun catcher. Though I also know folks who opened a thousand and got none, read into that what you will. Such a small and biased sample is hardly representative of a drop rate.

Maybe everyone already has their 732 different pieces of fire-themed gear and wanted something a bit different. The ‘wind aura’ actually manages to wrap all the way around your body, as well. I’m going to guess that has a bit to do with it. It’s nice. I do, however, understand you trying to get your hustle on, so…YAY for Sun Catchers!!

Fire theme yes- Sun? No. Sun is in it’s own category~ Solaire of Astora doesn’t use Fire/Pyromancy, he uses Sunlight. :o

Pretty much, from what was being said around the time it was first available. It has, by a considerable margin, the most noticeable special effects.

I bought around 150 boxes last night and got the wind catcher skin after about the 5th box opened. Go figure……

The drop rates on certain items appear to have been increased dramatically. I opened 40 and got windcatcher today as well. Previously had opened about 150 and got nothing…

I opened around 150 boxes today for the first time, and i got 2 Wind Catcher Skins!
After i told my guildies about it, one of them started opening boxes, and also got a wind catcher skin within her first 100 boxes.

I opened the bulk of my boxes in the first two weeks – very quickly lost count.

But to date, I’ve received two land aquabreathers and one Wind Catcher.

I’ve opened ~ 200 since the 17th patch, which was the batch I got my Catcher from.
