Very Disappointed
Before the 20th patch I was having a blast with the 10th anniversary celebration. One of the things that made me pick up the game about a little over a week ago was the promise of being included. My character was very low level and I was bumped up to level 80 to be able to join in the fun. Then the 20th happened. Imagine my horror when I find out you need to be at least level 25 to participate. This is 10th anniversary content and I will never be able to experience it. With my schedule getting a character to level 80 before it ends is just not possible. So so much for being included. I will still play the game but I am disappointed that this one time content will not be available for me.
Sorry just wondering, we still have 2 weeks for this recently added content and the minimum level seems to be 25… How are you left out if level 25 is quickly accessible? I don’t think that having a level 80 character is a must, if you are having troubles just whisper me or well stay far far far far far away from the foes, just ranging them.
I believe one of the problems would be to get to the higher leveled zones (like Sparkfly?), but still there’s a lot of chances to experience everything that was just added… Here’s hoping that you get to experience it all.

Go to any one of the many guild wars crafting sites Gw2crafts is a great one, and has 3 different tiers of guides for each. Giving you a fast to cheap option in each crafting profession.
Follow the guides, each one (400 levels in a craft) is 10 levels on a character and takes about an hour to follow. Each craft costs an average of 10 gold to complete with the easier ones (like cooking) on the lower 5g side of things, and the higher ones (like weapon smithing) at about 15g
This means that you can get to full 80 with about 80g from level 1. If you dont have the in game gold consider buying gems which are exchanged for about 2.5g/100 gems. (this fluctuates) so for $10.00 you can get about 20 levels for your character, and in a very short amount of time.

Not everything in the game should and can be done by a new level 1. Some things are required, be it exploration, jumping puzzles, level requirement, etc. If you can’t do it, then you simply haven’t played enough.
Sorry for you, but it’s not because you can’t enjoy it that we can’t!
While Goddess has the gist of it, have some compassion for the new guy, though. I have 5 level 80’s, but I was also disappointed to see that the Queen’s Jubilee/Clockwork Chaos content requires the player to basically have one level 80 that’s visited all or most of the maps (for the Balloon achievement and invasions). The Pavilion/Gauntlet is going to be returning content, so it’s not a big deal, but having limited time content that newer players just have to miss out on is not a direction I would like to see ANet adopt going forward.
Well, “a little over a week” is more than enough time to gain 25 levels – I was 40+ by the time I hit my first week in GW2. Besides, when you come late to the party you should expect to miss out on some stuff until you catch up – I personally did not even bother with most Dragon Bash/Aetherblade events in my first few weeks in the game because a) I did not have the levels nor the gold nor the game knowledge to complete them and b) I was too busy getting all those levels and gold and game knowledge in the first place.
Why did you not level up with the last patch then? It’s almost impossible not to level with last 2 weeks farming content.
One more issue : there will be free play weekend for the game. Question : how many of the new players will be able to participate in the LS? They cannot go to pavilon until they do the Chaos and will not see Chaos because they under lvl 25 without waypoints.

Well, at least the free access guests will be able to play in Queensdale without getting ran over by the champion train. Seems almost by design that the veterans are lured away from the starter areas.
