So so far in this living story we know that Scarlet is the big baddie behind it all, perhaps.

You know who I think is behind this all, why Scarlet is doing what she is doing? She is white mantle.

So first Scarlet is theorized to be the person behind the Molten Alliance. But why? What was the point. They apparently found some kind of new metal from this alliance and these two factions working together. So now Scarlet has some kind of new metal.

Then she assassinates a captain of the council in lions arc. Why? Well we do know that it was from when some of the emissaries that were there put things into the effigy. It was a Chemical reaction. Why were they testing something like that? Majory investigate and almost had a solution, but was folied by a mysterious person. Someone told her there was more at work behind the scenes.

The Zephyrites come and the Aetherblades attack the kite baskets and try to retireve something from the wreckage. What is this thing that they want back so badly?

Now this living story they’re using STEAM portals. Steam Creatures are implied to be from some alternate future or dimension. Why does Scarlet need time travel or dimension travel? How is she/he using it to teleport to locations? Using inquest research into Chaos energy?

Here is my theory. Scarlet is researching this travel method and is apart of the White Mantle. What could the white mantle gain? Well we know that there is only one Unseen One left. How could he possibly stand up against his enemies by himself? He would need Mursaat from an alternate dimension or the past. Is the last Mursaat Scarlet? No, he is not.

Scarlet is Kiel. Wait wait, hold on. Why? Kiel has almost been there in every story instance. She is the only new character they have developed through the living story. You may be asking ,why? The Unseen Ones are notorious for manipulating people. They did it with the rise of the White Mantle. Scarlet is White Mantel and she is Kiel. She uses the Molten Alliance as a chance to increase her standing with the lionguard and help with southsun/refugees. She then uses Dragonbash as a way to assassinate a council member and give her a chance to gain power in Lions arc. So now she she has power in there and has heavy influence in a major city, she can set her sights on her main target, Kryta.

Ok ok, so say Kiel is Scarlet. What could she possibly gain from attacking the Pavilion? So say the Queen is murdered. Who do you think would try everything he can to take power and lead Kryta? Cadeacous. There is already confrontations of the shinning blade and the ministry guard (under cadacous’s thumb). Why does the Ministry Guard want in there and why is the Shinning Blade taking a stance on them? Ansie knows. She has an idea of what is going on.

So basically Scarlet is Kiel. Kiel used the MA, Refugees and Dragon Bash to increase her standing in Lions Arc and give her more power. The developers said our nemisis is someone we know and it doesn’t deal with dragons. What other storyline is reasonable to developer in this game that doesn’t deal with dragons. Palwa joko is out of the question. So the white mantle is the only other one. She is trying to take over the two major human cities, Kryta and Lions Arc. She is the only other character that has been developed in this living story.

If you doubt this theory, answer me this.

Why the Molten Alliance? Why the alliance between INQUEST and Pirates? Why kill a councilor in lions arc? Why attack DR? What forces are behind Majory’s backstory?

Also I think Canach is gonna come out of no where and be a hero and be apart of the Braham and Rox party.

The person who messed with the bot whilst Logan was fighting with it was Scarlet. I took a close look at their face. Looked nothing like Kiel. I don’t even know what race.

Her face looked Asura. Only she was human height.

Actually, I’ve closed enough of the “Shady girl” to get sure that she is a sylvari model. If she is scarlet, scarlet is not kiel.

I think the “Scarlet is Kiel” idea is a little farfetch’d but if it means we get to team up with Evon to kill Kiel I’m willing to suspend my disbelief! :P

Yeah It is wishful thinking for scarlet to be kiel, but I can hope.

The developers said we would recognize our arc Nemesis, so if the slyvari is scarlet and scarlet is the big baddie, I dont recognize her. Unless it is Caithe’s lover in the nightmare court.

If Scarlet isn’t the big baddie, my money is on Cadeacous.

I’m betting on Kasmeer.

We know ANET is specifically hyping up Lady Kasmeer. When she appears in the Marjory cutscene, she even has special sound effects to highlight her appearance!

Plus we don’t know anything about Kasmeer. She’s always working behind the scenes…

Not to mention, why is she a legendary with Unshakeable buff?

The person who messed with the bot whilst Logan was fighting with it was Scarlet. I took a close look at their face. Looked nothing like Kiel. I don’t even know what race.

Her face looked Asura. Only she was human height.

The mysterious character in the QJ Opening Ceremony was a female sylvari. I got a good look at her during her dialogue just before she vanished.

Scarlet looks and sounds like a female sylvari, but a mesmer could disguise themselves as anything.

Assuming she’s truly sylvari, she could be Nightmare Court. If you cast your minds to the Brisban Wildlands, you may recall a trio of champions known as the “sinister triad” of Ebon Knight Carriadar (Nightmare Court), Operative Comakk (Inquest) and Bandit Chief Thorne (Human).

This triad operates in an area known as Vandal’s Claim, where there is Fort Vandal. The three evil groups have been operating here, impervious to the efforts of various lawbringers to break them down since the start of the game. Now, there’s nothing aetherblade about any of this other than the bandits working with the Inquest, but what’s really interesting is the Nightmare Court being here too and Scarlet being sylvari, and being involved with the aetherblades – who we know are in with the Inquest. This area could well be where Scarlet, assuming Nightmare Court, got involved with the Inquest and the aetherblades.

Of course, Scarlet could have linked up with the Inquest some other way, but this is the only zone I remember the Nightmare Court and the Inquest joining forces. The bandits would be ideal for providing the Inquest with supplies.

The other curio in this zone is Skrittsburg, the city of skritt. We know that skritt get smarter when they get together and the skritt in Skrittsburg are so numerous that they build golems and mecha-suits, and well, I bet the skritt have invented a thing or two and the Inquest will have stolen it. And being skritt, it could be anything.

The only things we know about Kasmeer so far are that her noble family went down on hard times and now she has to work, and seems to be Marjory’s partner. And is apparently a childhood friend of Lord Faren.

I think that’s it? Either way, I wish they’d slip more backstories into the dialogue/cutscenes/etc.

I thought she was sylvari. What we could see of her face looked very sylvari and the way she spoke was very Nightmare Courtish villainy.

Something happened to her father in the last year which is probably why she needs to work for a living.

Livia should totally make a comeback. There’s a necromancer called Bria who has a mansion, perhaps you know the one. She tries to steal charr children away and the area if full of shadow creatures stealing the bodies of charr lumberjacks.

Anyway! When Bria turns up (dynamic event), she has flesh and blood, but the Priory guy helping to stop her says she’s a ghost who died in the Foefire. But he continues, Bria is such a powerful necromancer that whenever the Foefire’s curse brings her back after death, she uses her skill to fully reincarnate. She’s immortal, like Palawa Joko. Only… better looking.

I wonder if Livia’s necromancy is as good as that?

OMG ppl, leave LIvia! What do you want from her? She fought for better Kryta and now, she’s trying to destroy everything what she built? That’s nonsense.

Livia had Scepter of Orr, that’s right. But she had it only for a while. And the Scepter of Orr gives you power to control the undead, ONLY. No corruption, no change in lich form!

And I hate Kiel too, but she can’t be a Scarlet.
