I assure you, ANet gets feedback from the community regarding the quality of their content as it is, and in more detail than “here’s four dollars, interpret it as you wish”.

And here I am thinking that you’re creating a “Living Story Foundation” where you collect donation and give it ArenaNet so that they won’t have an excuses for delivering kittenty story because of having limited funds. With the foundation money, they can buy equipments, hire more people, and send the nay-sayers off to vacation. Alas, this is just a lame thread after all.

Um… why do we have to pay to give our feedback? Why not just create a poll after each release and send it to Anet with the results?

Sadly you cant say anything bad about the story or in game content without people going right to – if you don’t like it quit – its sad people blindly accepting all the kitten week after week (more like 2 weeks) is why we never will see any improvements. Not trying to spit hate, I love guild wars the game the lore and the art style, and played guild wars 1 for years. but i at least don’t accept the flaws and claim its 100% good and anyone who thinks otherwise should uninstall. Really sad super fan boys are costing us the improvements and attention to the finer details that this game could use to become even better.
Meh.. support that stuff by buying gems and done. Ill keep doing it as long as they supply me with entertainment and some nice looking armor or weapon skins or hairdos or whatever (i refuse to buy costumes though cause i hate that i cant mix em with other armors). So yea.. if they dump today some new cool armor set or weapon skin into the store they shall have my gems like everytime they put something good on sale

What makes you think ANet believes that every single gem purchase means that specifically the living story is what’s caused the sale?
If you like or dislike the living story, you moan- pardon, critique it on the forums. If you’re actually looking to improve further content and not just whine for a while, you clearly specify what you didn’t like and how it could be avoided in the future. Conversely, if there’s something you really enjoy about the living story, it’s good if you do the same – write on the forums and say exactly what you liked about it and that you want to see more of it.
Buying gems just means you like the game as a whole. It has nothing to do with released living stories. Or, in more proper terms, correlation does not imply causation.

The problem I have with this statement is that (IMO) ANet have made improvements to the game since launch, so I can’t see how these “super fan boys” are costing the game.
Back on topic, if you want to show support for the good work that ANet have done with a particular episode, then feel free to buy gems and/or post your appreciation on the forums.
