Light ’Em up Achievement – 5 points
First you need to go back and near the entrance there is a flame thrower. Using the flame thrower deals a lot of damage and
will easily get you the Light ’Em up Achievement after you defeat the veteran mordrem blocking the path .

No Teragriff Pack Snack Achievement – 10 points
Now here you need attack skills that are aoe (area of effect) because you need to hit a lot of Malformed Mordrem Teragriff.
If they hit you then you will lose the No Teragriff Pack Snack Achievement. Also they will get knocked back after you hit them with an attack so a guardian like me can use a staff to hit 5 at a time. So attacks with blast radius a good.

The first and second are easy with aoe’s but the third time they will respawn spawn when killed till some time passes and the boss go flying again. Note: I’m not 100% sure if its because of time or because I hit the boss with the staff.

Tip. Summoning a minion/pet/spirit or item summon etc… will be helpful in removing the agro from the mini Mordrem Teragriff
Tip. Stay in this corner near the dead master of the sun so that you will not get pull over by the vines and also a good spot for fighting the mini Mordrem Teragriff

Dancer in the Dark – 15 points
Tip to win it easier : Don’t go near the boss when they tell you go or looks stunned/wings in the ground because now that you have the challenge mote he will start sending high damage attacks so stay as far as possible so that the npc aggro those attacks.

A bit of advice Anet – put a replacement flamethrower in the room if you get downed. So flipping annoying having to log out and re-do the achievement otherwise. God.

Apparently if you die during the final phase of the boss on challenge mode (the part where he starts summoning ridiculous amounts of deformed teragriff minions) he instantly resets all of his health and returns to the first phase of the fight, BUT the minions never stop spawning. So… yah. Don’t die during that last phase of challenge mode or you’re pretty much screwed. Unless you can do the entire boss fight while being swarmed by dozens of enemies that can do 4k damage a hit to you.

I was finally able to finish that challenge mode thing on my guardian. Took 3 or 4 attempts but got it in the end. Just need the achievement now where you can’t be hit by a teragriff minion – seems like an impossible achievement considering how long it takes to bring the boss down. I might have to wait for a guide on this one.

Then there’s those fangs that I need – that are based on RNGesus (>_<) so who knows how long that will take me… and finally the other 2 gloves which will cost me 2k badges now that Anet won’t give extras for doing the story on other characters.

This has to be the most annoying living story for me to date.

This one I kind of don’t get. I keep getting hit by the little minions. Got the other two achievements done, no problem.

I see the reset ‘challenge mote’ outside the vines, but there’s no way to get to it if I screw up. And, if I beat the boss . . . it disappears.

Am I missing something? I really don’t want to redo the entire thing over and over and over again. . . .

Edit: Well . . . got it the hard way.

Edit: Well . . . got it the hard way.

That’s not a respawn challenge mote. That gets you past the vines and back into the arena if you die. So once you beat the boss there’s no reason to have it at all.

Oddly enough that disappears during challenge mode, so I’m not even sure what the point of blocking off the entrance and putting that mote there in the first place is if they can do the battle without it.
