Guild Wars 2

I know there are a few Guild Wars 1 players out there and I need help from this insanity that I’m having lol. In the Premonition Concept Art could that person in the bottom right be a mursaat? I know it sounds crazy and we might not have enough information to know, but that person strangely looks like a mursaat. Just google “Mursaat Guild Wars” if you haven’t seen or heard of it before and tell me if it’s crazy to notice that.

Good thought, but from what I remember, the Mursaat in GW1 were never walking. They were always floating their way around. There’s a huge possibility it could have something to do with the White Mantle though.

Those do not look like Mursaat. They also don’t have the wings.

You can barely see the wings on his back, just folded down, :P. But I understand the never walking. I guess I was assuming it by the color of the armor and the barely visible what looks like black wings. It would be nice to see the White Mantle again.

I’m fairly sure they’re not Mursaat. But a return of the White Mantle + Shining Blade saga would be quite welcome

Wait.. what?

I am 100% sure this statement is completely false.

For one the White Mantle still exists, as enemies of the Crown (which is defended by the Shining Blade).
And the fact that the Shining Blade isn’t Seraph is another thing that shoots down your statement.

The Shining Blade is basically the elite bodyguards whilst the Seraph is the army.

This in kind of true. There where shining Blade spy’s in the ranks of the mantle. And depending on who you where I. The ranks of the mantle would determine what you knew. So there may be people classed as white Mantle but wanted no part of the attack on LA. And they where what is now the seraph, and other went In to hiding. There where probably loayal White Mantel in the ranks of the first seraph right up to the current guild wars time line as human PS players may know as well as order of whispers members. The Mantel are alive and well. Also I’m sure when they ran, they ran in to Maguma.

Also if I remember right there is a Mantel camp west of Ventars refuge. But then it could be a shining blade camp that’s being attacked. I can’t remember 100%. Will check when I can.

I’m pretty sure the Gates of Maguuma would have at least some throwback in some for to the “mursaat rally” in guild wars 1 (google for details) seeing as it was held in maguuma stade. May not be the focus of the release, but I would be almost upset if there wasn’t mention of it somewhere in the lore of the area. It was a pretty awesome event, was anyone else there?
