One of the NPCs also says everyone may be wrong about it even being “S” >.>

I think you’re making this up. I just checked out of curiosity and unless it’s on the cover of one of those books with writing in krytan so small that you can hardly read it, I don’t think this is there.

Still its breaking the fourth wall. why are they written in krytan but reference our months? not a lot of cases where the gw2 team has broken the fourth wall.
I guess it could be a reference to people packing up holiday decorations but who has decorations for those days?

Stand back far enough (but not too far) from the books, and look at the colors. The darker books create a pattern that you follow which point to the only book with its unique color on the shelf. That book has the name.
/protip: work it out, it was fun for me since I noticed the floor on the upstairs library was actually a map, I thought it would be sneaky of Anet to make a similar pattern with the books. Haha!
Arch of Covenant. I am sure its there:-P
I specifically went looking for that box! Was very bummed not to find it. And nothing labeled “Warehouse 23” (or 13) in Krytan. Harumph!

Went back and reread all the books. It isn’t there. You’re not thinking of stormcaller are you? The horn that rurik used?
If I’m still missing something, please tell me the shelf number of the book. Ie. N/S 1/2 1-3. Does the book appear in yellow when you hold control? Is the name on the book cover or do you have to actually read the book to access the name? Do you have to talk to Ogden first before it appears? Why has no one else found this yet?

The ark, or “Ancient Weapon” as it is know in GW1, is hidden behind the crates that are behind Archivist Ernswort. To find it, look for a low place in the crate wall where some are stacked up, allowing you to jump over it. Then go under the corner of the Jade Sea slab and wind your way to the back.

Guys, it’s a troll.
I mean his signature says that he doesn’t have much tolerance for stupidity, so I figured he’d be honest enough to do us all the same favor and not act like an imbecile.
He also wrote that the floor of the upstairs library has a map on it, which was demonstrably true and was something I missed the first time so I figured I’d give him the benefit of the doubt.
Oh well.
Edit: And there ARE hints of the name. Like if you talk to the Norn historian he talks about how he thinks the scholars are wrong about the first letter being “S.”
Edit edit: And in the book “The Great Hunt Rite of Passage” there’s a note written on parchment between the pages of the book that you can only read AFTER you’ve opened the door to Ogden that says “Revolution came to Rata Sum (N1-2), and a pall fell upon emerging blooms (SYL).” Not sure what that means but in section N1-2 of the library there is a book about the golem uprising. Not sure what the sylvari part means and if SYL is just supposed to be short for sylvari or what.
Edit edit edit: AND Ogden says that the name of the DSD is lost to time.

How many have people found?
the six I take note of are:
- /dance in front of Abaddon
- The mysterious red chest behind the stacks of boxes (looks kinda canthan/zaishen)
- The strange noises you hear when walking around on the boxes in the stacked box room (breaking items, live animals, etc.)
- The giant Jade Block containing a Sea Wurm from Cantha.
- The Upper floor is a map of Tyria (world)And the one I found most interesting, the exact replica of the throne/pedastal/shrine for the Ghostly Hero, that briefly appeared and vanished shorty after!
What else have people found?
Do any of these give you achievements ?

No, they are just tid bits, that’s why they are Easter Eggs :p
There have been hidden achievements before, so it’s worth asking.
