Anyone tried to use the Glove of Wisdom on them?

I have no idea, other than that it’s an obscure reference to Twin Peaks.
Can you follow them like you wouldst a beedog or raccoon?

That sentence has puzzled people for over 20 years now.

Actually I took this as a reference to the owls under the shop at the entrance to the cave. Use your candle and light up the area the owls are actually wooden dolls you can hit for baubles.

Yes, doesn’t do anything besides keep you from losing a bauble. They get sent back to the tree they came from, but it doesn’t stop them from spawning in that tree, or give you a bauble, or anything else special I could see.
