I think tribulation mode needs titles, what about this?

All world 1 achievements (infantile, normal and tribulation): Bachelor of applied Tribulation
All world 1+2 achievements (infantile, normal and tribulation): Master of applied Tribulation
All world 1-3 achievements (infantile, normal and tribulation): Doctor of applied Tribulation
All world 1-4 achievements (infantile, normal and tribulation): Professor of applied Tribulation

I think this would add a reason to do tribulation for people who do not like the skins.

I dont think Anet would add that many titles, but maybe a meta that gives you a title?

No, that would be nice, but unfair. That level of difficulty is possible because you don’t get any unique reward. If they add a title – that would be totally unfair to newbies that can’t do it.

So what do you have to say about the skins unique to tribulation mode?

I don’t understand this sense of entitlment people have that says they should have access to everything even if they are unwilling or unable to earn it. Where is this attitude coming from?

I was actually going to skip Tribulation mode when I first looked at the achievments because there was no title, no mini.

I want something to show for my effort.

I didn’t beat Liadri because I wanted the mini, I’ll tell you that right now. I could care less about minis, but because it allows me to show my accomplishment, I proudly drag her around every where I go.

Only when I found out the Yellow and green skins were unique to Tribulation mode did I enter.

Because unique skins isn’t enough.. I could agree to a title for doing all the TM modes but this other stuff is just silly.

I second this. Can’t show off all the time with skins, cause we might want to change them.

Of course, it would be unfair, but titles are meant to be a way to show off. And oh boy, what a show off a trib mode title would be. The least common title, as even the scrubs who follow guides will need to do some pretty challenging jumps to make it.

Oh don’t get me wrong. I’d love a title. I mentioned the skins because Night hawk complained about a title being out of reach of less skilled players, yet if that is the case, so are the skins.

I was really hoping for a title for Trib mode. There is a title for both meta achievments.

I know it wouldn’t be Josh’s department but If I had it my way he would be the one to choose the name for the title. That guy has a great sense of humor, I think the title he chose would rock.

And Liadri wasn’t as hard at all. I spent near 7-8 hours to complete World 1, while I bet Liadri in 2 hours.

This is a perfect example of how people take their own personal expirience and some how extrapolate fact from it.

Liadri was difficult, no matter how long it took anyone to beat her. It took me around 2 hours of continous trying as well to beat her, regarless her encounter was tough.

It only took me about and a half hours total to beat World 1. Just because it took you 8 doesn’t mean that should be the measure of difficulty across the board.

Liadri was also a single fight. It had to be attempted many times, but still just a single fight. No boss enounter or even single check point in SAB every took me 2 hours of continuous trying.

it only needs one title for 100% completion and if anything it should be Doctorate in Applied Jumping.

I agree, this needs a title. FYI: I am NOT one of the possible players to get it. Barely made it through world 1 TM alive. Hats off to everyone who has completed this, you deserve a big applause and much respect.
This tribulation mode thing can really test one’s character and dedication.

To make this clear: I am stuck in tribulation w1 z3 currently, but hopefully I will get there before SAB vanishes for months again. Still I would like at least one title for this, because I do not like any of the weapon skins.

Couldn’t agree more on the titles. One for each World being completed in TM would be great. For people saying the titles would be unfair to those unable to obtain them, that is kind of the point in having titles… to show off the things you did that other people wish they could do. Along the lines of unfair, all PvP and the GWAMM title both need to be removed, as well as several others. Titles are not for everyone to achieve, but rather for people to show off what they have managed to achieve.

They’ve already shown they don’t give a flying kitten whether something is fair to obtain as evidenced by Mini Mr. Sparkles.

I didn’t even get to Liadri. Always died at the boss with the dog eating meat. Also some stuff with 5 gauntlets I did not do.

Clocktower I needed 8 or 9 hours of training before I could do it but then it worked most of the time.

World 1 was fast and easy once you figured out the boss(which was not that hard). Shortcut I only found with guide – this made it even faster.

Baubles collecting needed some time with guide… without guid probably even longer and certainly not only 1-2 hours.

I guess it’s different for everyone. Some also did clocktower pretty fast and some never made it and I’m sure they have needed a different amount of time at SAB and being good at one thing does not mean you are good at other things.

For example the clocktower was only jumping.

World 1 looking for all baubles is also boring searching the whole zone for all the stuff(or use guide if you don’t want to search for hours).

I guess this wont happen, since they arent even fixing checkpoints in w2z2 tribulation or master of baubles for w2z3

‘Connoisseur of Pain’ and ‘Masochist in Jumping’ sound like good titles. I’d love one of those to show off with, considering I’m not a fan of yellow weapons.
