You can store em in the bank, get more and then retrieve from the bank to get above the limit, the UI shows 999 max even when having 1 million e.g.

He’s probably got a whole bank tab full of them by this point.

Very nice. Shaved about 90 seconds off of my run until I got to the logs. Need to get better at just straight running them instead of using the bear room.
