There’s this “birthday gift” people are going to receive on August 20 if you have a character who is a year old?

Hope that isn’t the case…my character is 11 months |:

People will get their birthday gifts when their character turns 1 year.

How do you know this for sure?

Because that’s how it’s always been in the Guild Wars franchise

Made me laugh. I think it’s also pretty obvious what a birthday is, even if you haven’t played the original Guild Wars.

I don’t of course, but it is extremely unlikely that only people that have played since release would get birthday gifts for their characters.

Birthday gifts are for characters hitting their first birthday as it says on the release page. If you created a char 2 weeks after launch, presents will be given 2 weeks after launch.

It wouldnt surprise me if an anniversary gift of some sort, prob gems, was given to all players
