so here is my problem. i see the invasion, run there and the champion is already dead. then i run to the next one hit him, but dont even have the chance to hit him that hard. and no i am not a dps build as this i not my playstyle.
but i barely get any reward for the champions or invaders as i dont have any time to do enough dmg. i dont even have time to use my scepter nr 3 on my mesmer as by the tim i cast it the champion is already dead. the zergs are way too big atm, so is there maybe something that can be done for condition builds that arent berseker?

i am ther pretty fast, but ther is so many people that the champions melt in like 15 seconds. i use all my attacks and everything, but i still dont get the loot as i dont have such a high dps. i have a wvw build and dont wann have to buy new armor just so i can tag.

These kinds of responses help nobody. Go somewhere else.
OP, the only advice I can offer is to look for a party to join. Either bring some friends, or ask in map chat and self invite. If you’re in a party you just have to hit the mob once, and it will add your damage to a cumulative total based on the entire party. You will probably still miss some tags if you show up late, but your chances will improve.
I personally feel that the damage-based tagging is annoying and inherently flawed, and it wouldn’t be a problem if the major, most rewarding content didn’t revolve around following a zerg but we’re stuck with it. Hope this helps.

well condition builds are near worthless in zerg situations; so having the wrong equip is the problem (‘do more damage’)
… its like saying that you keep dying in wvw because you’re full zerker melee training
Break away from the ball, stay away from tags if possible. You can usually find smaller groups (10-20) running in a different direction which handles content at a more reasonable pace. Sticking with the zerg is a mistake for everyone, you need to spread out to clear the invasion in time.
I find myself wondering if someone oopsed the scaling code, and the more people pile on the weaker the mobs armor get.
