Not a bug I don’t think, whenever I go to interact with these items for the achievement my character uses the /no emote and refuses to interact with it, what’s up with that?

I am on tarnished Coast and nor I or any of my guild mates have had this issue and this is the first I have heard of it. I do however know that this is the easiest part of the event it seems, HOPE it gets sorted for you

If your character does the /no emote when trying to interact it means that you already have interacted with that tooth/scale/shard previously.

Move on to a new one and it should be OK.

I am in frost gorge sound. Found my first shard/scale. Interaction was fine. Went off to find the next one. Found it but could not interact with it. I went to find another and also the same thing happened. No interaction possible. According to the achievement you need 10 in this area. But now because of my no interaction i am unable to finish this event. Please help

This is indeed correct. I found that if your character is saying no then you have already received credit for that one. The reason people are getting confused is that the length of the emote for collecting the items is a 1/3 of the speed it takes a character to say no and if you interact too quickly it skips the interaction altogether but you will get credit for it.

My advice is for anyone doing the achievements to just track them in your panel and watch as it updates so you know you received credit.

I did encounter this once (at frostgorge) but it seemed to be due to being out of sync with the server (could have been lag or something else). I logged off to character screen and just logged back in. I was then able to interact with the scale.
