It probably has been said often enough, but I’m gonna say it again.
The Open-World player-limitation is just in no way acceptable, it is now. I wasted like 5 hours now and fought him TWICE. I have to say, I enjoyed both fights but its a kitten waste of time for 15 minutes fighting. Everywhere are overflows and when I finally find a kind person thats on a server, the main server is also full. Then when the fight is over in the main-server you have to camp for the next spawn and cant do anything else, as this wouldnt be already enough pain when I once made it, I had a freaking client crash while waiting and couldnt get in again.
Find a solution for this, seriously, I’d like to do some dragon slaying stuff (my guild only does dungeons), too without waiting forever and doing nothing else. This is probably the worst implementation ever.

That’s why I didn’t even bother last night and continued to level my new alt. Leveling an alt is WAY more fun than hanging out for hours in overflow waiting for an autofail event.

I see all these threads and I have yet to fully understand WHY players must be in the main server instance? Does the Tequ battle not take place in an overflow? Are the rewards diminished? I’m guessing it has to do with the quality of players and odds of success, but I fail to see how being in the main instance in any way garantees 3 or 4 idiots won’t take control of the turrets. Keep in mind I have never done the event, so forgive my ignorance and inform me.

The Overflows are a technical requirement. What is “acceptable” to the OP is irrelevant to the technical constraints of the hardware and connections that run the game. I guess you can continue to complain or figure out some way to deal with the realities of this content release.

I’m just assuming my home server gets him down below 90%, because I definitely haven’t been in an overflow that has.

Because VOIP helps… a LOT. Inb4 just give out your voip info to everyone regardless of what server they come from.
